Season Journey Chapter 2 follows after the first Chapter, pushing you further to grow during the season by conquering strongholds and gaining access to more Waypoints.
You will need to complete more objectives to be able to gain more rewards as well as progress through the main questline in Season of the Malignant.
Chapter 2 is also one of the requirements for you to complete the Hold Back the Flood Season Quest along with Chapter 1.
Chapter 2 Season Journey Objectives
Below is a list of the objectives that are available for completion in the Chapter 2 Season Journey in Season of the Malignant.
1) Undertaker
Complete 10 Cellars anywhere in Sanctuary.
Reward: Smaller Favor
2) Stopping the Spread
Collect 3 Malignant Hearts, which can be done after completing or skipping the main campaign.
Reward: Smaller Favor
3) Ruins Reclaimed
Conquer a Stronghold anywhere in Sanctuary.
Reward: Smaller Favor
4) Gemcutter
Craft 1 of any Chipped gem at the Jeweler.
Reward: Smaller Favor
5) A Torch in the Depths
Complete 5 Malignant Tunnels, which can be done after completing or skipping the main campaign.
Reward: Smaller Favor
6) Baptized in Blood
Reach Level 25.
Reward: Smaller Favor
7) Vivisector
Collect 15 Demon Hearts.
Reward: Smaller Favor
8) A Warrior of Taste
Change your gear’s appearance 5 times in the Wardrobe.
Reward: Smaller Favor
9) Lighting the Way
Interact with waypoints for faster travel to new places.
Reward: Smaller Favor
10) Spit and Polish
Upgrade items to Level 2 at the Blacksmith or Jeweler.
Reward: Smaller Favor
11) Finer Clarity
Upgrade your current potion to Minor Healing Potion at the Alchemist.
Reward: Smaller Favor
Season Journey Chapter 2 Rewards
Completing at least 9 out of 11 of the objectives in Chapter 2 will complete it, which will reward you with the following:
- Greater Favor
- Second Journey Cache
- Bold Chieftain’s Aspect
- Shockwave Aspect
- Aspect of Exposed Flesh
- Aspect of Surprise
- Aspect of Frozen Orbit
Verdict
Chapter 2 may be a bit more tedious to complete than what you experienced with Chapter 1 of the Season Journey but it is very rewarding.
The addition of the Legendary Aspects being temporarily available for the rest of the Season of the Malignant is a great way to improve your builds early on.
The majority of the objectives of Chapter 2 can be completed as you normally play the game, especially if you decided to complete the campaign first.
