How To Get Elsie’s Rifle in Destiny 2

Being accurate with your weapons can be a huge boon in battle, especially when the weapon has a lot of potential that provides you with better ways to defeat your enemies.

Elsie’s Rifle is no exception as this Legendary Pulse Rifle can be a great tool of destruction that can accurately pick off enemies continuously.

This Legendary Rifle is a returning weapon thanks to Lord Shaxx, who has opened up the BRAVE Arsenal towards Guardians who prove themselves worthy to use them in battle.

How To Get Elsie’s Rifle?

Obtaining Elsie’s Rifle is one of the first things that players can do when they log in after Into The Light update as it is included in the Stranger Danger quest.

The Stranger Danger quest is required to progress and acts as a tutorial on how attunement with the Holo-Shaxx statues can be done. (Attuning allows you to increase the weapon’s drop chance)

Completion of the Stranger Danger quest results in Lord Shaxx rewarding you with a  Masterworked version of Elsie’s Rifle.

Additionally, this weapon may be obtained as a reward for completing Onslaught Activities as well as turning in Trophies of Bravery in the Hall of Champions. (Chest near Lord Shaxx)

Elsie’s Rifle Origin Trait

Indomitability

This Origin Trait comes along with the BRAVE Arsenal weapons and allows the weapon to provide its user with energy regeneration based on their Subclass.

Subclasses that fall under Light will gain Grenade Energy when this weapon deals Final Blows while Dark Subclasses provide you with Melee Energy.

Elsie’s Rifle Intrinsics

High-Impact Frame

The High-Impact Frame causes Elsie’s Rifle to have a slower firing rate than other pulse rifles but in return, the damage of this weapon has been increased.

Additionally, firing Elsie’s Rifle is more accurate when you are standing still, moving slowly, or aiming down the sights of the weapon.

Verdict

Elsie’s Rifle is a decent weapon to have at long range as well as any other range as a matter of fact since it is easy to handle and does a good amount of damage.

Timing your shots right with this weapon can give you a good amount of damage per second since you can get continuous bursts each time you pull the trigger.

Indomitability is a useful Origin Trait due to its ability to regenerate Grenade or Melee Energy, which gives you the opportunity of using certain abilities more often in a fight.
