How To Get Falling Guillotine in Destiny 2

Falling Guillotine is a weapon that was reintroduced recently with Into The Light update, which allows players to obtain it from the BRAVE Arsenal.

This Legendary Sword has become a popular choice, being one of the weapons with the favored Vortex Frame for its Intrinsic Trait.

Using the Falling Guillotine, you can slash your way through enemies and make quick work of groups with a powerful spin attack.

How To Get Falling Guillotine?

Falling Guillotine may be obtained through Onslaught Activities as a reward as well as through trading Trophies of Bravery at the Hall of Champions.

A Mastercrafted version of this weapon may also be obtained by completing the Spin To Win quest, which can be obtained from Arcite 99-40 at the Hall of Champions.

Attuning with the Falling Guillotine Halo-Shaxx at the Hall of Champions will increase the chance of this weapon dropping from Onslaught or when you open BRAVE Engrams.

Falling Guillotine Origin Trait

Indomitability

This Origin Trait causes certain Final Blows to grant your abilities with energy depending on which subclass you are using.

While using a Light Subclass, Final Blows will grant you Grenade Energy while using a Dark Subclass will cause Final Blows to provide you with Melee Energy.

Falling Guillotine Intrinsics

Vortex Frame

This Intrinsic allows you to perform a heavy spin attack, which deals a large amount of damage in a certain radius around your character.

Using the heavy spin attack will consume more energy than normal attacks and will deal even more damage if your energy is full.

Verdict

Falling Guillotine shares similarities with other weapons but due to its possible perks as well as its Indomitability Origin Perk, it becomes useful for certain builds.

Being able to quickly gain Melee Energy or Grenade Energy while slicing up enemies in battle is a quick way to use your abilities more often.

Much like other Swords in Destiny 2, Falling Guillotine will have increased Impact when you upgrade it, allowing you to increase the damage it can do.
