Season 1 Season Journey
The Season Journey is a set of challenges that players have access to, which allow them to earn rewards based on the chapters that they have completed.
Completing challenges will earn players with rewards that include Favor, Aspects, Journey Caches, Titles, and more when claimed.
This provides players who play during a season with ways to get great rewards as well as Favor for their Battle Pass progression.
Season Blessings
Season Blessings provides players with bonuses during the duration of the Season of the Malignant that they can purchase with the use of Smoldering Ashes.
The following are the Season Blessing available during the Season of the Malignant:
- Urn of Aggression – Boosts XP earned from monster kills.
- Urn of Bargaining – Boosts Gold earned from vendor sales.
- Urn of Reclamation – Boosts the chance to obtain rare materials from salvaging.
- Urn of Prolonging – Boosts the duration of Elixirs that you use.
- Urn of Malignance – Boosts the chance of powerful Malignant Hearts dropping.
Battle Pass Rewards
As you gain Favor and reach certain levels, you will be able to claim rewards from your Battle Pass, which are mainly cosmetics, Smoldering Ashes and more..
The Battle Pass Cosmetics contain items for certain classes while other cosmetics can be used by any class depending on the cosmetic.
All of the cosmetic rewards and more can be equipped on other characters once they have been claimed through the Battle Pass.
Season of the Malignant Quest
The Season of the Malignant introduces a whole new quest line that revolves around the Malignant enemies that make an appearance in Sanctuary.
This sets you on a series of quests that have you putting a stop to the enemies and attempting to find a cure for what has happened.
Most of the features introduced in Season of the Malignant are uncovered during this quest, which is a fun alternative to the original campaign.
