Diablo 4 Resurrected Malice (Location, Fight Strategy & Drops)

The Resurrected Malice is a boss in Diablo 4 that resembles the appearance of a specter but this enemy is more powerful than most of the enemies you have encountered.

This boss will attack you at any range and is often slow but its attacks can sometimes deal a lot of damage if you aren’t too careful.

Aside from the Resurrected Malice, you will be fighting against spirits that it summons, which makes it necessary to take them out first to avoid taking too much damage.

Resurrected Malice Fight (Attacks)

The Resurrected Malice tends to deal damage to you from afar, using its spirit energy to send out projectiles while summoning spirits to aid it.

1) Spirit Projectile

Creates a projectile that is launched forward, which may sometimes split into multiple projectiles to deal damage once it collides with you.

2) Summon Spirits

The Resurrected Malice summons spirits to fight alongside it, which also results in the release of a blast that can knock you back.

3) Spirit Blast

After charging up for a short duration, the Resurrected Malice creates a blast in the area, dealing damage and knocking you back.

4) Spread Projectile Spirits

Creates multiple projectiles that form a star, which flies outward to deal damage, similar to its regular Spirit Projectile.

Resurrected Malice Strategy

The Resurrected Malice often channels its energy to release projectiles, which you can avoid by moving out of the way or by dodging.

When it begins to prepare its blast that can knock you back, you can either move out of the area or continue attacking it if you can tank the damage.

If this boss summons spirits, it would be best to take them out first to avoid taking additional damage from multiple sources.

It is best to continue attacking this boss while moving around it to avoid most of its projectiles until you drain all of its health.

Resurrected Malice Drops

Defeating the Resurrected Malice can result in it dropping 1-3 items of a different rarity as well as a certain amount of gold based on its level.

Aside from loot and Gold, defeating the Resurrected Malice will unlock an Aspect when you complete the following dungeons for the first time:
