You previously helped out the Iron Wolves by bringing back the Ishaf’s Medallion Shards and now Soudeh has let you in on a secret.
It seems that some of the Iron Wolves have gone missing and Soudeh requests your help now to find out what has happened to them.
While the Helltide has risen and enough chaos is already spewing into Sanctuary, it looks like there is a lot more trouble in store for the Iron Wolves.

- Investigate the scene of the massacre
- Search for the cultist’s hideout

The Wooden Wolf Quest Walkthrough
After your conversation with Soudeh the Anvil during the Call of the Wolves quest, you will be on your way to increasing your Wolf’s Honor Rank with the Iron Wolves.
This requires that you fight enemies in the Helltide, which will spawn in different areas in Sanctuary and you can find them by checking for the areas that are colored red on your map.
To increase your Wolf’s Honor Rank, you will need to fight enemies and defeat them as they can drop Wolf’s Honor but this is not the only way.
Wolf’s Honor may also be obtained by opening Mystery Chests that spawn in the Helltide but these require Aberrant Cinder to open, which drops from Helltide enemies.
Once you have gained enough Wolf’s Honor, you will need to return to Soudeh to report what you have completed and she will thank you for your work.
Soudeh will then tell you about the Iron Wolves that have gone missing and later send you to search for a caravan that has not yet returned.
You will need to continue the quest by heading to Ked Bardu and making your way out of the town to search the marked area for the caravan.
The Caravan will be around the northwest part of the marked area and you will need to defeat the cultists that you encounter before searching for the missing Iron Wolves.
There will be objects that you need to interact with before you may continue, which include the Corpse of an Iron Wolf, An Unsent Letter, a Hand-Carved Toy, and a Defaced Medallion.
After interacting with all of the objects, you will now be making your way to the cultist’s hideout, which is within the area marked on your map. (Located south of the center of the marked area)
Make your way into the dungeon and you will now be fighting your way through enemies within until you reach a ritual site, which you will need to investigate. (After defeating more cultists)
The ritual site will have 5 items to interact with, which include a Ritual Blade, Sacrificed Iron Wolf, Cultist’s Sketch, Caravan Route Map, and A Letter Home.
Make your way back to the Iron Wolves camp to speak with Soudeh, who will later complete the quest after learning about the fate of the missing Iron Wolves.
The Wooden Wolf Quest Rewards
Heading back to speak with Soudeh the Anvil after discovering what happened to the Iron Wolves that went missing will reward you with the following:
- XP
- Gold
- Salvage Cache
- Iron Wolf Boots (Rare Boots)
Verdict
Upon finding the missing caravan, it appears that things took a different turn as the Iron Wolves that went missing had made a bargain with a demon.
The bargain was made for the Iron Wolves to regain their lost glory but in turn, this led them to betray the caravan.
As a reward for their deeds, the Iron Wolves seemed to have made a bad bargain as they were also betrayed after making the deal, which ended up with their lives being taken.
