Necromancers can have several minions, making them capable of outnumbering some of their enemies but there are limits to how many minions.
Aside from having more companions, you can use the Requiem Aspect to provide you with another benefit based on how many minions you have.
The Requiem Aspect provides Necromancers with a certain amount of Essence based on the number of minions they have.
Requiem Aspect Effects (Essence Aspect)
With the Requiem Aspect imprinted on any of your equipped items, you gain a Maximum Essence based on how many minions you have.
Each minion will provide a certain amount based on the quality of the Aspect that you have imprinted, providing a larger amount at higher levels.
The Requiem Aspect is great for adding extra Essence to your Necromancer as this will allow him to draw from a larger resource pool for their skills.
Requiem Aspect Location
Completing, Vault of the Forsaken Dungeon will unlock the Requiem Aspect in your Codex, allowing you to imprint it on your items.
How To Get Requiem Aspect? (Vault of the Forsaken Walkthrough)
1) Slay all enemies in Shipwreck Respite
Once you enter Vault of The Forsaken, you will be in Shipwreck Respite, which is where you will need to slay all of the enemies in the area.
You can find enemies by exploring and their locations will be shown on your map by a red dot once you are at a certain distance from them.
2) Travel to Sailor’s Demise
After all the enemies in Shipwreck Respite, a barrier will be dispelled and you can continue making your way to Sailor’s Demise.
3) Slay Captain Murador and his Mates
Reaching Sailors Demise will give you a new objective, which is to slay Captain Murador along with 2 of his mates.
Aside from Captain Murador, you will need to kill Smyth (First Mate) and Briggs (Second Mate) in any order that you find them.
4) Use the Chamber Key to open the Chamber Door
Whoever you previously killed from the three enemies will drop the Chamber Key, which may now be used to open the Chamber Door nearby.
5) Defeat the Drowned Seahag
After opening the Chamber Door, make your way into the Sanctum of the Seahag and you will encounter the Drowned Seahag boss, who needs to be defeated.
Verdict
Since the Requiem Aspect requires minions to provide a Maximum Essence boost, you will want to have as many as possible.
Whenever a Minion has been killed, this will reduce your Maximum Essence given by the Requiem Aspect until you raise it again.
The higher your level and the better the quality of the Aspect imprinted, the higher the Maximum Essence bonus will be.
