The Drowned Seahag is a boss that you can encounter in certain dungeons who appears to have been an enemy who has spent too much time in the depths of the sea.
This boss is often fought along with Wretches, who it summons to assist it in battle, while it attempts to drown you with its watery attacks.
Defeating this boss can lead to you unlocking multiple Aspects as well as random loot and gold when you face it in a dungeon.
Drowned Seahag Location
The Drowned Seahag currently seems to be encountered in two of the dungeons that unlock Aspects in Hawezar, which are the following:
- Ghoa Ruins (Toxic Fens, Hawezar)
- Mariner’s Refuge (Strand, Hawezar)
Drowned Seahag Fight (Attacks)
The Drowned Seahag is slow and will follow you around while commanding its Wretches to attack you once she calls for their help.
She will often cast her water skills to deal damage and if you are not careful enough, you could end up taking a lot of damage from the blasts.
1) Drowned Puddle
The Drowned Seahag creates a puddle after releasing a watery orb, which she then detonates along with any other puddles also detonating. (Puddles will remain in the area and slow you down)
2) Drowned Puddle Detonation
The Drowned Seahag charges up before causing all puddles to erupt, dealing damage if you are caught in them. (This can deal a lot of damage, stay away!)
3) Tidal Wave
After charging up, the Drowned Seahag releases a wave of water in a direction that damages you and knocks you back. (These are slow and you can avoid them)
4) Frenzied Cry
The Drowned Seahag unleashes a terrifying screech that causes the Wretches to gain a boost in speed as they attack you. (Kill them before she can do this)
5) Summon Wrteches
Allows the Drowned Seahag to call upon Wretches that will begin to chase after you and attack you when they get within range. (These are fast but easy to kill)
Drowned Seahag Strategy
The Drowned Seahag is slow and you can easily kite her but you should take care of the Wretches she summons to avoid taking more damage.
It is best that you avoid standing in the Drowned Puddles to avoid being slowed and caught up in any blasts when she causes them.
The Tidal Wave does not deal that much damage and can easily be avoided by moving out of the way so you don’t get knocked back.
You can easily defeat the Drowned Seahag by attacking her and moving out of the way when she creates Drowned Puddles. (Don’t forget to take out the Wretches whenever you can)
Drowned Seahag Drops
The Drowned Seahag will often drop around 1 to 3 different pieces of random rarity items along with an amount of Gold that is determined by your character’s level.
Aside from dropping boss loot, you will be able to unlock an Aspect if you defeat the Drowned Seahag for the first time, which includes the following Aspects:
- Enshrouding Aspect (Ghoa Ruins)
- Overcharged Aspect (Mariner’s Refuge)
