The Outlaw Sharpshooter is a Bandit Boss that you encounter in some of the dungeons that can be found around Sanctuary.
This boss appears to be the survivor of a battle that has gone on and most likely survived due to his skills with a crossbow as well as his blood magic.
While this boss prefers to fight you from a distance, he doesn’t mind shooting you at point blank and also tends to have some tricks ready to take you out.
Outlaw Sharpshooter Location
There are 2 dungeons in Sanctuary that pit you against the Outlaw Sharpshooter and these are the following:
- Mournfield (Karghai Crags, Dry Steppes)
- Renegade’s Retreat (Caldeum, Kehjistan)
Outlaw Sharpshooter Fight (Attacks)
The Outlaw Sharpshooter will often engage you by shooting you with his crossbow and has a habit of using trickery and traps to kill you.
1) Charged Shot
The Outlaw Sharpshooter loads his crossbow with a charged shot and unleashes it, releasing a projectile that will ricochet into multiple projectiles after hitting a surface.
2) Blood Traps
After digging into his pockets, the Outlaw Sharpshooter releases traps around him that will immobilize him for a short duration.
3) Smoke Bomb
The Outlaw Sharpshooter drops a smoke bomb and relocates, leaving a fountain of smoke that fires projectiles at you or dazes you if you are standing in it.
Outlaw Sharpshooter Strategy
The Outlaw Sharpshooter is an easy boss to defeat and you can simply evade all of his projectiles aside from his normal attack that doesn’t deal much damage.
You will want to watch out for his traps though as these can immobilize you, making you a sitting duck for him to shoot.
It is best to close the distance between you and the Outlaw Sharpshooter and get as many hits as you can before he vanishes before striking again.
He takes time to reload and this gives you a good amount of time to get some hits in before he fires off another shot or uses one of his skills.
All you need to do is avoid the traps and projectiles and continue attacking the Outlaw Sharpshooter until he is slain.
Outlaw Sharpshooter Drops
Once the Outlaw Sharpshooter has been defeated, he may drop around 1 to 3 items as well as some Gold as loot.
Additionally, whenever you defeat the Outlaw Sharpshooter for the first time in these dungeons, you will be rewarded with an Aspect:
- Aspect of Berserk Ripping (Mournfield)
- Aspect of Corruption (Renegade’s Retreat)
