Rogues are known as natural tricksters that always have something up their sleeve, such as Caltrops that can be used to damage and slow enemies.
This can be made more efficient with the Trickster’s Aspect, which allows you to deal additional damage to enemies as well as stun them for a quick duration.
While Caltrops alone is good for Crowd Control and damage, the additional benefits of Trickster’s Aspect work well with some of the Rogue’s other skills and passives.
Trickster’s Aspect Effects (Caltrops Aspect)
The Trickster’s Aspect triggers whenever the Rogue uses their Caltrops Skill, which causes them to release a cluster of exploding Stun Grenades.
The Stun Grenades will damage enemies as well as stun them for a quick duration and enemies can be hit by several of them.
Not only does this provide additional damage but the stun from the explosions can give you the upper hand in a fight.

You may unlock the Trickster’s Aspect by completing the Guulrahn Canals Dungeon, which can be found nearby the Hidden Outlook in the Wailing Hills. (Scosglen)
How To Get Trickster’s Aspect? (Guulrahn Canals Walkthrough)
1) Free the Prisoners
Entering Penitent Cairns will have you exploring the Mournful Hollows, which is where there will be 7 Prisoners scattered throughout the area.
You will need to search for all 7 Prisoners and interact with them to release them or to lay them to rest before continuing.
2) Travel to the Caves of Atonement
After all the Prisoners have been released, you will need to continue making your way to the Caves of Atonement next.
You may be required to complete an additional random objective along the way such as Destroying a Construct before you may continue.
3) Return the Stone Carving to the Pedestal
Once you reach the Caves of Atonement, you will need to search for a Stone Carving, which will be marked on your map when you are near it.
The Stone Carving must be picked up and brought back to the Pedestal before you interact with it to remove a nearby barrier.
4) Defeat Resurrected Malice
After removing the barrier, you will need to proceed into the next area called the Subjugated Cavern, and slay the Resurrected Malice boss.
Verdict
Certain passives as well as Aspects provide benefits when you are attacking Crowd Controlled enemies and this make Trickster’s Aspect helpful.
Aside from the short stuns, the extra damage can be helpful when clearing out enemies, allowing you to take out groups quickly.
Trickster’s Aspect can be used in almost any Rogue Build depending on what skills the user prefers to deal damage or apply Crowd Control with.
