Save the Refugees Quest Walkthrough: BG3 (Baldur’s Gate 3)

While looking around to find someone who can cure you, you stumble upon a group being attacked by goblins and decide to help them out.

Later, you are allowed into the Druid’s Grove to escape additional goblins that may be making your way and you meet a Tiefling named Zevlor.

Zevlor tells you about how they are being kicked out and that Kagha is the only one you can talk with to set things straight.

How to Get Save the Refugees Quest?

Save the Refugees begins when you talk to Zevlor and ask him if there is a way to convince the druids to stop the ritual that they are performing.

Zevlor will ask you to speak to Kagha to reconsider but this eventually is turned down and instead, you will need to find a way to keep the Tieflings safe.

Save the Refugees Walkthroughkilling all the three bosses in the Goblin Camp

After being asked by Zevlor to speak with Kagha, she will turn you down and you will need to return to him to give him the bad news.

Asking Zevlor if there is a way to stop the ritual will begin the quest and he will need your help in disrupting the goblin forces.

This requires that you find out who oversees their ranks and take them out, which later is revealed to be Minthara, Priestess Gut, and Dror Ragzlin.

There are multiple ways for you to get inside such as talking your way into the Goblin Camp, fighting your way in, or saving the Goblin Sazza in the druid grove.

Once you have gotten your way into the Goblin Camp and the Shattered Sanctum, you will need to kill all 3 of the bosses.

After the bosses have been killed, you may head back to Zevlor and report that they have been taken care of, which completes the quest.

You may also rescue Halsin as he can help you clear out the goblins fast so you don’t have to battle them on your own and upon returning, he will replace Kagha as the First Druid.

Save the Refugees Quest Rewards

After reporting back to Zevlor, he will thank you and give you a reward that was collected from all the Tieflings, which you can reject if you want to be kind.

The Tieflings will return to the Druids Grove once Halsin has returned, preventing them from moving out into the dangerous world.

Verdict

Kagha has been consumed by her interests and this has caused the Tieflings to be pushed out but thanks to you, this can be avoided.

Whether you took the path to help the Tieflings or Rescue the Druid Halsin, this quest comes to an end with a peaceful resolution.

Aside from the rewards earned for helping everyone out, you come across multiple ways for you to proceed in the main quest.
