Warframe Grimoire Build Guide (Our Tested Builds)

Blasting your enemies with an unlimited amount of energy is one of the best ways to press the attack against them, which is where the Grimoire comes in.

This powerful tome was discovered in the laboratories beneath the Sanctum Anatomica and can be used to destroy your enemies with continuous shots and voltaic orbs.

Utilizing the right mods will allow you to use its primary and secondary attacks to destroy your enemies and you can even add a Tome Mod to support your allies.

Effective Warframe Grimoire Builds

1) Critical Projectiles Build (Electricity Critical Damage)

Grimoire Electricity Critical Damage build

Our Grimoire Critical Damage build may not seem like anything special but once you test the weapon out in a mission, you will see how much of a difference it can make.

By increasing the damage, and fire rate and adding critical mods, this weapon can be fired in quick succession and will be able to score several critical hits.

To make things better, all of the weapon’s primary attacks have a small blast range that allows you to hit more than one enemy if they are close together.

Gunslinger has been added and when combined with Lethal Torrent, you can send out projectiles faster than ever and deal a lot of damage per second.

2) Status Projectiles Build (Status Chance)

Grimoire Status Projectiles Build

The Grimoire has innate Electricity Damage but this can be changed by adding other elemental mods to the build.

For our status build, we combine both damage and Status Chance to not only tear chunks away from your enemies’ health but to also make them suffer from Status Effects.

Featuring 4 Elemental Status Mods, you can get multiple elements into each projectile that is fired, which can help prime enemies to be killed with other weapons.

This can be a good build on its own to destroy enemies but when using a melee weapon with Condition Overload, you are certain to deal tons of damage after priming them.

3) Hybrid Tome Build (Critical and Status)

Grimoire Hybrid Tome Build

Grimoire has a good amount of Status Chance and Critical Chance, which makes different builds viable for this weapon but a good hybrid build can do wonders.

Combining both critical mods and status mods, you can easily score critical hits while also inflicting Status Effects upon your enemies.

You can modify the elements provided by the Elemental Status Mods by rearranging them, which will allow you to deal more damage to specific enemies.

Critical Damage and Status Effects can be applied by both the primary and secondary attacks of the Grimoire due to this build.

4) Explosive Damage Build (Increased Radius)

Grimoire Explosive Damage Build

Being capable of dealing a lot of damage on its own, Grimoire can do even more with a small increase in the radius of its attacks.

This build includes a decent amount of critical chance (which can also be altered to a Status build) with the inclusion of Primed Fulmination.

Primed Fulmination will increase the radius of both Grimoire’s primary and secondary attacks so that groups of enemies can easily be taken out.

This increases the primary attack to hit enemies close to each other while the voltaic orb (secondary attack) can cover a wide area.

Verdict

At any time, you can replace one of the mods that are least likely to be of your choosing with a Tome Mod to provide your team with a buff now and then.

Grimoire excels when it comes to dealing continuous damage to enemies with its primary attack while its alternate attack is perfect for clearing out groups.

Depending on the element that you want for your attacks, you can modify the Elemental Damage Mods to mix and match to deal additional damage to certain factions. (Alternate has guaranteed Status Effects)
