Thanks to its high base damage and critical chance, several builds can be made that will allow you to easily clear out your enemies.
Utilizing the right mods will allow you to deal massive amounts of damage, especially since the weapon can increase its damage and attack speed with heavy attacks.
Effective Warframe Ekhein Builds
1) The Critical Hammer Build (Critical)
This build focuses on dealing massive amounts of damage using critical mods and Condition Overload, which works best with a primer.
Since Ekhein has good Critical Chance, you can boost it up to 66% with this build and to make things even better its Critical Multiplier is boosted to 5.8x.
This makes the weapon not only have a higher chance to get critical strikes in, but it also improves the damage of these attacks.
Spoiled Strike has been added to the build for more damage but can be replaced with another mod if you prefer a different one.
2) Status Pulverizer Build (Status)
Status Effects can be a game changer and with Ekhein, you can easily deal massive amounts of damage depending on what elements you use.
This build allows you to have 2 elemental combinations and increases the Status Chance of Ekhein, allowing you to inflict Status Effects more often.
The base damage of the weapon is increased and once enemies are affected by Status Effects, you will deal more damage thanks to Condition Overload.
To make the build even deadlier, having a primer that uses elements different from what is equipped on Ekhein will further increase the damage bonus from Condition Overload.
3) Hybrid Hammer Build (Critical and Status)
Ekhein is suitable for different builds and while many choose between a Critical Build or Status Build, some opt for a hybrid one.
This Hybrid Build provides Ekhein with critical and status properties, allowing you to use both during a fight.
Critical hits will occur due to the addition of True Steel, while the Critical Multiplier will further be increased by Organ Shatter.
Status Effects will take effect often thanks to the increased Status Chance while Condition Overload further provides you with more damage.
4) Agile Build (Ekhein Attack Speed)
Being able to deal massive amounts of damage with a single swing is a great way to kill your enemies but sometimes being able to knock them around can be useful.
With Ekhein being a slow yet powerful hammer, this build increases its Attack Speed greatly so that you can continue unleashing furious blows at your enemies.
The lack of base damage is made up for with the ability to quickly hit your enemies until you have knocked the life out of them.
Others will prefer this as the weapon can stagger enemies and once your Combo Meter builds up, you can get more critical hits often.

The sheer power of this weapon comes from its high base damage and the ability it has to activate damage and attack speed with a heavy attack.
This makes it necessary to consider the Mentor’s Legacy mod, to give you a chance to bypass your combo meter from being reset.
Ekhein is one of the few weapons in the game that have Unique Traits and seems to be one of the best due to the large advantage from the buff.
