While exploring the Dry Steppes, you slay a cannibal that drops a Tarnished Amulet and this may be valuable to someone in Jirandai.
Since the Yinsuk Shrine is known for such amulets, you will need to head there to see if anyone is interested in what you have found.
You will need to make your way to Jirandai and head for the shrine to search for someone to give the amulet to.
How To Get Tarnished Amulet Quest?
This quest begins once you pick up the Tarnished Amulet, which may drop in the Dry Steppes when you slay cannibals.
Players may often get this request when they are completing the Corroding Mettle quest, where they slay cannibals and find Khada’s Corpse.
Tarnished Amulet Objectives
Bring the Tarnished Amulet to the Yinsuk Shrine
After you have picked up the amulet, you will need to make your way to Jirandai by foot (or mount) or teleport to its Waypoint if you have unlocked it.
You may reach Yinsuk Shrine near the Jeweler in Jirandai and a man named Gesur will be marked on your map, who you will need to speak to.
Upon speaking to Gesur, he will tell you more about the amulet and guess what has happened, which later ends the quest.
Tarnished Amulet Quest Rewards
Once you have brought the Tarnished Amulet to Jirandai and have given it to Gesur, the quest will be complete and you will receive the following rewards:
- XP
- Gold
- Elixir Cache
- 30 Dry Steppes Renown
Verdict
The cannibals found around the Dry Steppes can be vicious and may have primal instincts but this doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy keeping fancy jewelry.
Gesur believes that the amulet may have belonged to a traveler and since it was in the hands of a cannibal that you have slain, the owner must have suffered a terrible fate.
Since you have given the amulet to Gesur, he has decided to place it within the Yinsuk Shrine to protect other travelers everywhere.
