Saving up on your Primary Resource can be a great way to prepare for bigger fights but aside from having a large pool to draw from, this can be beneficial in other ways.
With the Edgemaster’s Aspect, you can deal more damage to enemies based on how much of your Prime Resources is filled up.
This provides players with a good way to deal bonus damage from time to time, especially if they can quickly replenish it.
Edgemaster’s Aspect Effects (Damage Aspect)
Edgemaster’s Aspect causes your skill to deal a certain percentage of increased damage based on your available Primary Resource.
This is effective for builds that allow you to maintain a lot of your Primary Resources or quickly replenish them before using your other skills.
The additional amount of damage is useful when you have other Aspects as well since the more bonus damage you have, the more likely you are to easily kill your enemies.

You can get Edgemaster’s Aspect by completing the Oldstones Dungeon, which can be found in The Downs. (Scosglen)
How To Get Edgemaster’s Aspect? (Oldstones Walkthrough)
1) Return the Stone Carving to the Pedestal
You will be in the Lush Ruins once you enter the Oldstones and will need to begin by searching for the Stone Carving.
This can be found by exploring the area until you find and pick it up, which then needs to be taken back and placed on the Pedestal.
2) Travel to the Underground Thicket
After placing the Stone Carving on the Pedestal, a door will open and you will need to proceed by going through it to the next area.
3) Survive the enemy attacks
The next room will have multiple enemies spawning and both the entrance and exit will be blocked, forcing you to stay inside the room.
You will need to survive the attack and this can be done by either running around or by fighting back until 30 seconds are up.
4) Travel to the Underground Thicket
Once 30 seconds have passed, you can proceed into the next area and may continue making your way to the Underground Thicket.
5) Collect Animus from Animus Carriers
Upon arriving in the Underground Thicket, you will be in a large area where Animus Carriers need to be hunted down for their Animus.
Kill the Animus Carriers in the area and take the Animus (Purple Flame) until you have filled the bar displayed below the objective.
6) Deposit Animus into the Animus Urn
Once you have enough Animus, you will need to continue going to the end of the area where an Animus Urn will be present and interact with it.
7) Defeat Khazra Abomination
The next area will be opened and this is where you will find the boss, known as the Khazra Abomination, who you must now kill.

Verdict
Edgemaster’s Aspect is ideal for builds that allow you to quickly regain your Primary Resource or that deal a lot of damage with the first few hits.
This goes well with skills that deal high amounts of damage but require a low amount of Primary Resources when being used.
Other Aspects or skills that work well with Edgemaster’s Aspect would be those that also provide you with bonus damage after you have not been in combat for a while.
