Aspect of the Damned (How to Get, Location & Effects): Diablo 4

When it comes to Shadow Damage, Necromancers have several ways to boost the damage they deal to enemies and this is not limited to only their passive skill upgrades.

Necromancers can modify their curses to make enemies weaker against Shadow Damage, providing Necromancer Shadow Builds with an advantage over them.

This can be done with Aspect of the Damned, which affects both the Decrepify and Iron Maiden curses whenever they are cast.

Aspect of the Damned

Aspect of the Damned Effects (Curse Aspect)

Aspect of the Damned causes enemies who are affected by Iron Maiden or Decrepify, forcing them to take additional damage from Shadow Damage.

This causes enemies who suffer from any or both of these curses to take a certain percentage of extra Shadow Damage when you attack them.

The bonus Shadow Damage stacks with other types of passives or Aspects that affect Shadow Damage or skills done to enemies.

Aspect of the Damned LocationAspect of the Damned you can find in the Ragged Coastline (Kehjistan).

Aspect of the Damned can be unlocked by completing Uldur’s Cave, which is a dungeon that can be found in the Ragged Coastline. (Kehjistan)

Uldur’s Cave can be found north of Gea Kul or southwest of the Iron Wolves Encampment, whichever is accessible.

How To Get Aspect of the Damned? (Uldur’s Cave Walkthrough)Slaying the Ringleader in the Uldur’s Cave

Upon entering Uldur’s Cave, you will need to fight your way through the Fortified Cave until you reach the Bandit Hideout in search of the Ringleader.

  • Destroy the Barricade (2)
  • Travel to the Bandit Hideout
  • Slay all enemies in the Bandit Hideout
  • Slay the Ringleader

The Ringleader and a group of more bandits will appear once you have slayed the rest of the enemies in the Bandit Hideout.

Once the Ringleader appears, you will need to defeat him to complete the dungeon, which will unlock Aspect of the Damned.

Verdict

Aspect of the Damned is a great addition to any Necromancer Shadow Build that makes use of curses as this can provide you with a lot of extra damage to enemies.

Skills such as Corpse Tendrils and Bone Prison can be used to easily trap enemies and apply more debuffs before you cast a curse, allowing you to affect several of them.

With Aspect of the Damned, Necromancers can easily reach high amounts of damage, especially when combining other skill passives and Aspects that benefit Shadow Damage.
