Corpse Tendrils is a great skill for bringing enemies into one spot, pulling them to a location, and making them easy to target. (You can even trap them with Bone Prison afterward)
While it is easy to bring enemies in, it would be even better to be able to deal more damage to them, which can be done if you have the Aspect of Grasping Veins.
The Aspect of Grasping Veins provides you with an increase in Critical Strike Chance whenever you use Corpse Tendrils.
Aspect of Grasping Veins Effects (Corpse Tendrils Aspect)
Using the Aspect of Grasping Veins will increase your Critical Strike Chance by a certain percentage for 6 seconds after you have used the Corpse Tendrils Skill.
Additionally, any Critical Strike Damage that you deal with will be increased as well by a certain percentage, providing you with additional Critical Strike Chance and Damage.
This works hand in hand since all you will need is to pull enemies together and use whatever attacks your build relies on.
Aspect of Grasping Veins Location
You can unlock the Aspect of Grasping Veins by doing a run of the Corrupted Grotto Dungeon, which can be found in the Ragged Coastline. (Kehjistan)
This can be reached by heading north starting from Gea Kul or by making your way to the west from Denshar, whichever is unlocked for you.
How To Get Aspect of Grasping Veins? (Corrupted Grotto Walkthrough)
You will start in the Throngs of Vice when you enter the Corrupted Grotto and will need to make your way to the Pits of Sin.
- Collect Animus from Animus Carriers
- Deposit Animus into the Animus Urn
- Travel to the Pits of Sin
- Destroy the Demonic Corruption (3)
Opening the Path to the Pits of Sin can be done by depositing Animus into the Animus Urn but this spawns a Corruption Guard. (You can escape him though)
Once you reach the Pits of Sin, you will need to destroy 3 Demonic Corruption structures to complete the dungeon, unlocking the Aspect of Grasping Veins.
Using Corpse Tendrils alone is already enough to take on multiple enemies as the Necromancer has several skills that can be used to take out groups.
With enemies being pulled together and the increased Critical Strike Chance, you are guaranteed to get more Critical Strikes often.
This allows the Necromancer to focus their skills on the enemies that were pulled or even trap them to cause additional effects based on what skill upgrades you have.
