Penetrating Shot is one of the Rogue’s powerful Core Skills, which allows them to deal a large amount of damage that damages enemies in a line.
This Core Skill can be enhanced with the Trickshot Aspect, allowing the Rogue to damage even more enemies starting from the point of impact of the shot.
Trickshot Aspect takes effect whenever an enemy is hit by Penetrating Shot, and this causes additional arrows to split off of it.
Trickshot Aspect Effects (Penetrating Shot Aspect)
The Trickshot Aspect modifies Penetrating Shot by causing 2 arrows to split off from it going to either side, which is where it gets the name “Trickshot.”
The arrows that split from Penetrating Shot will deal a smaller amount of damage based on a certain percentage of the skill’s base damage.
This gives you a way to deal damage not only in a straight line with Penetrating Shot but also damage enemies on the sides.
Trickshot Aspect Location
The Trickshot Aspect can be unlocked by completing the Bastion of Faith Dungeon, which can be found in the Umir Plateau. (Hawezar)
You can reach the Bastion of Faith by making your way north from Zarbinzet or by heading southwest from Wejinhani.
How To Get Trickshot Aspect? (Bastion of Faith Walkthrough)
Once you are inside the Bastion of Faith, you will need to make your way from the Cloister of the Deserted to the Shrine of the Devoured.
- Collect Animus from Animus Carriers
- Deposit Animus into the Animus Urn
- Travel to the Halls of the Ravenous
- Return the Mechanical Box to the Pedestal
- Slay all enemies
After returning the Mechanical Box to the Pedestal, enemies will spawn and you will need to defeat all of them to complete the dungeon, which unlocks the Trickshot Aspect.
Penetrating Shot can deal a large amount of damage and being able to get extra projectiles coming from the area of impact can be useful for fighting groups.
Even if you are only fighting a few enemies, you can utilize this by taking a certain angle to make sure other enemies are even if they are far.
Trickshot Aspect will trigger for every enemy that is hit, which means larger groups can provide more arrows that spread out.
