Although she has been taken control of, there is still a chance to save her and this is what the Queen expects you to do.

The problem is she will try to kill you and you will have to do everything you can to release her from the control and save her.

Strike Objectives

Gain Access to The Temple

You and your fireteam will start in Rheasilvia, outside the temple which later on brings you into an Ascendant Plain of the Temple of Illyn which is most likely created by magic.

Descend into The Heart of The Temple

Once you have entered the temple, you will need to make your way towards the waypoint which leads you down a dark and broken cave like drop, full of Taken enemies.

At this point you may either fight your way through the enemies or try to maneuver by them as your target is to get to the waypoint.

Not all enemies in this phase need to be killed and you may simply run past them but beware as the increasing numbers of enemies may kill you if you get stuck or cornered.

At the end of the path, you will find a portal which will allow you to exit the Ascendant Plain and bring you into the physical Temple of Illyn.

You and your fireteam will find a circular elevator and must survive as it goes down deeper into the temple but enemies will be attacking you along the way down.

Search for The Corrupted Tacheun

The path to the Tacheun will be filled with Hive enemies which you must fight through as you make your way towards the waypoint.

You will need to defeat two Berserker Ogres who are bound to Cedia before you can proceed through a large locked gate in the area.

After the two Berserker Ogres have been defeated, keep making your way towards the waypoint past the Taken enemies that are guarding the path.

You will once again enter the Ascendant Plain and this time there will be several pillar-like surfaces which you must traverse across by utilizing your class jump ability but be careful as falling will end up getting you killed.

Confront Sedia, The Corrupted

Once you reach the waypoint, Sedia The Corrupted will be waiting for you and you will have to fight her before in order to release her from the corruption that is taking hold of her.

You will notice that she may generate a shield which makes her immune to damage but this can be removed by picking up nearby orb-like relics and throwing them at her.

After taking down her shield, you and your team can start dealing damage to her to like you would to any other enemy.

When you have taken out about 1 ½ of her Sedia’s health, she will teleport away and you will have to chase after her through a nearby portal.

Continue fighting her until you deplete her whole life bar and afterwards, she will be free from her possession.

Tips

  • Taken enemies can be quite challenging as they are a mix of different factions which can be unpredictable at times.
  • Make sure you get a good running start with your jumps when going to and chasing after Sedia as they may be tricky for those who are not used to the jump mechanics.
  • Although there are multiple bosses, it is best to save your abilities for the Warden Servitor when you are nearing its phase to easily take it out.

Summary

Once the hold on Cedia has been lifted and she is no longer corrupted, the mission will come to an end and you will have saved the Tacheun.

The Queen holds her closest members in high regard and will be ever grateful for the completion of this strike that you have succeeded with.
