ARK Ragnarok Arena (How to Enter, Boss Fight, Rewards & Unlocks)

Ark Survival Evolved Ragnarok Arena

The Ragnarok Arena is the boss fight arena that is located on the Ragnarok DLC in Ark Survival Evolved, pitting you against two bosses at once.

In this arena, you will be facing both the Manticore and Dragon, which combine elements from both The Island and Scorched Earth.

The arena boss battle takes place in what appears to be an old farm, implying that the Manticore and Dragon have attacked it.

Boss Fight in Ragnarok Arena

Once you spawn in, the two bosses, Manticore and Dragon will be in the center of the area, you will have enough time to get on a mount and attack.

The Dragon will usually be the first of the two to go down because it takes extra damage, which makes it easy to kill it.

Watch out for the Dragon’s fireballs and make sure not to dismount when the Manticore is near as it may dive and take a swipe at you.

The Manticore will mostly attack with its ranged attack when it flies but will occasionally land to fight upfront, which is when you should rush it.

During the whole fight, you will need to assault the bosses when they land and shoot them from afar if they are in the air before time runs out.

Tips

  • The Ragnarok Arena starts with you and your team at the far side of the village, taking this time to mount your creature and whistle the others to attack.
  • Wear a Gas Mask or Tek Helmet to avoid getting knocked out by the Manticore’s ranged attacks, these can also kill you if unprotected.
  • The Dragon is easier to kill than the Manticore and should be dealt with first to reduce the amount of damage dealt with your creatures.
  • Bring ranged weapons with you so you can shoot from afar, especially when the Manticore and Dragon are airborne.
