Sanctuary is filled with all kinds of evil creatures and amongst them are demons, who you will often come across as you explore and complete quests.
Some of these demons will tend to drop a specific resource that is later used for crafting, known as a Demon’s Heart.

It is mentioned that each demon still carries a heart that is still withered and beating but these are rarely left intact when the demon is slain.
How To Get Demon’s Heart?
You can get Demon’s Hearts by slaying demons throughout the world of Sanctuary but these will not always drop as there is only a certain chance.
For every group of demons that you slay, there is a good chance for you to get them, making it best to clear out as many as you can if you are looking for this material.
Since not every Demon’s Heart remains intact after killing one, you will only be able to collect this resource now and then when a lot is slain.
Demon Hearts will often drop when you are at higher levels and can even be obtained in dungeons when you slay demons inside them.
Demon’s Heart Farming
Farming Demon Hearts is best done in locations and dungeons where you encounter several demons in the area, which is best if there are large groups of them.
The Helltide is a great place to go to as a lot of demons can be found often in the area and you can also get Demon’s Heart from events that you complete.
As long as you are out killing demon-type enemies, you are bound to get this crafting material, especially when on higher world tiers.
Demon’s Heart Uses
Demon’s Heart is one of the crafting ingredients used throughout the game and is currently known for only a few purposes as of now.
You may use Demon’s Hearts for upgrading your Healing Potion to Moderate Healing Potion and later on again for the Superior Healing Potion. (Done at the Alchemist)

Verdict
It may seem to be a bit nasty picking up the leftover heart of a corrupted being but with the many uses for magical items in Diablo 4, this is understandable.
Upgrading your Healing Potion is vital for your survivability when you are out in Sanctuary fighting monsters and can save your life countless times.
The ability to craft elixirs that provide you resistance to fire is great for encounters with enemies that deal fire damage while Acrobats Elixirs are good for additional evasion.
