The Meowscular Chef needs meat for a new recipe that he is working on and knows of a source in the Rotten Vale.
In order for The Meowscular Chef to complete one of his new recipes, meat from this area must be obtained, which must be done with your help.
Your objective for this quest is to obtain 2 Lumps Of Meat from a specific sector in the Rotten Vale and deliver them.

Walkthrough
Start out in Central Camp (11) and make your way towards Sector 13 where there will be a dead Raphinos that you can obtain the Lumps Of Meat from.
Bring each Lump Of Meat to the nearest camp, which can easily be Central Camp (11) and secure a total of 2 Lumps Of Meat.
Once you have delivered 2 Lumps Of Meat to the camp, the mission will come to an end.
Quest Rewards
Upon delivery of the Lumps Of Meat, The Meat OF The Matter will be complete and you will be rewarded with 3,600 Zenny.
Once the quest is completed, Marinated Carpaccio will be added to the canteen menu.
Tips
- Using a Ghillie Mantle or other means to stay hidden will make it much easier to get through with the Lump Of Meat.
- It is a good idea to clear up enemies to make sure you don’t drop the Lump Of Meat when you make a run for the camp.
- Passing through the vines in Sector 13 will loosen them up and allow you easy passage when you have a Lump Of Meat.
