Monster Hunter World: Dual Blades Guide

MHW Dual Blades

The Dual Blades are designed to hit hard, hit fast and hit precisely with its rapid combos that can rend and tear through any monster that is unfortunate enough to be the objective of your hunt.

Fast movement and rapid attacks that slashes at monsters can be further increased with the Dual Blades Demon Mode which constantly drains stamina to allow the wielder to attack even faster and access new moves and attacks.

Even Though the Dual Blades have multiple strikes, the combos are easily performed and this guide will show those moves and what they do along with all of the strongest craftable Dual Blades along with some insight on the weapon.

Normal Stance

Demon Mode

This is a toggled ability that allows the user to enter Demon Mode which causes your attacks to do multiple strikes and have increased speed.

Demon Stance

While in Demon Mode, you will be holding your Dual Blades in a reverse grip while in this stance your stamina is constantly being depleted while your normal strikes become multi attacks.

Dash

While also in the Demon Stance your evade rolls become a Dash that helps you quickly reposition without being slowed down unlike rolling.

Arch-Demon Mode

From Demon Mode when your Demon meter is up and you return to your normal stance, you will instead be in Arch-Demon Mode.

This where your standard attacks are basic combos of the Demon stance but no longer require your stamina as it draws from your Demon meter every time you strike.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Fast attacks
  • Procs status quickly
  • Chain Combo Attacks

Cons
