ARK Skeletal Dinos List (Fear Evolved 6)

ARK Skeletal Dinos

Ark Fear Evolved 6 has finally arrived and with it, we can see some returning features as well as new ones that have been added from the past.

Can You Tame Skeletal Dinos in ARK?

To answer the question straight, you cannot tame the Skeletal Dinos in Ark but you can kill them to get their Bone Costumes.

After killing a Skeletal Creature you have a good chance of obtaining a Bone Costume that matches it and it also drops Dinosaur Bones.

The Skeletal Creature drops Bone Costumes which can be equipped in the costume slot of your tamed Dinos.

What are Dinosaur Bones For?

Dinosaur Bones is a type of resource which can be obtained during Ark Fear Evolved 6, which is used for crafting many of the items in the event.

You can use Dinosaur Bones to craft skins, emotes and chibi-dinos that are available during the Ark Fear Evolved 6 event.

To craft them, you simply need to have a Cooking Pot and can find the recipes located in the Holiday folder.

Skeletal Dinos List in ARK Fear Evolved 6

Below is the list of Skeletal Dinos that are available in this year’s ARK Halloween event and we have arranged them based on how deadly they are.

  • Skeletal Giganotosaurus
  • Bone Fire Wyvern
  • Skeletal Rex
  • Skeletal Carnotaurus
  • Skeletal Raptor
  • Skeletal Bronto
  • Skeletal Trike
  • Skeletal Stego
  • Skeletal Quetzal
  • Skeletal Jerboa

1) Skeletal Giganotosaurus

Skeletal Giganotosaurus

The Skeletal Giganotosaurus is one of the strongest Skeletal Dinos in the list that can make your Dino take the highest bleed damage.

While these are not Alpha variants of the Giganotosaurus, their sheer power and ability to cause bleeding can make short work of your tames.

It’s best to deal with these large predators from afar if possible but if you plan on taking them head-on, you best prepare tames with high health and damage.

Below are the Skeletal Giganotosaurus drops but not all are guaranteed:

  • Giganotosaurus Bone Costume (Guaranteed)
  • Dinosaur Bone
  • Armor
  • Weapons
  • Raw Meat
  • Raw Prime Meat
  • Hide
  • Arrows
  • Rockwell Recipes
  • Berries

2) Bone Fire Wyvern

Bone Fire Wyvern

The Bone Fire Wyvern is the skeletal version of the Alpha Fire Wyvern and it keeps its deadly traits, being capable of setting you and your tames on fire.

This deadly beast is capable of tearing through your health within seconds and if it breathes fire at close range, the damage gets even higher.

What makes things worse is that the fire deals damage over time but if you are capable of defeating them, the rewards are quite bountiful.

Below are the Bone Fire Wyvern guaranteed drops:

  • Wyvern Bone Costume
  • Dinosaur Bone
  • Fire Talon
  • Wyvern Gloves Skin
  • Wyvern Milk
  • Sulfur
  • Armor
  • Weapons
  • Arrows
  • Raw Prime Meat
  • Hide
  • Rockwell Recipes
  • Berries

3) Skeletal Rex

Skeletal Rex

What was known to be one of the most iconic dinosaurs of all time, the Rex has its very own Skeletal Variant but this one is for the Alpha Rex.

Since it is a variant of the Alpha Rex, you can expect it to have a large health pool as well as base damage depending on its level.

One of the scariest things about the Alpha Rex and this Skeletal Variant is that they are always running, which means you are sure to die unless you can outsmart it.

Below are the Skeletal Rex drops but not all are guaranteed:

  • Bone Rex Costume (Guaranteed)
  • Dinosaur Bone
  • Trike Bone Helmet Skin
  • Tyrannosaurus Arm
  • Alpha Rex Trophy
  • Armor
  • Weapons
  • Hide
  • Raw Meat
  • Raw Prime Meat
  • Hide
  • Arrows
  • Berries

4) Skeletal Carnotaurus

Skeletal Carnotaurus

The Carno is well known for its annoying ability to pop out of nowhere and its knockback is not something to be taken lightly.

This creature can run remarkably fast and just the sight of it approaching is a horror to see but to make things worse, it can cause bleeding.

The Carno is capable of dealing damage that penetrates 30% of your armor, which becomes even scary with the Alpha Variant or this Skeletal Variant.

Below are the Skeletal Carnotaurus guaranteed drops:

  • Carno Bone Costume
  • Dinosaur Bone
  • Rex Bone Helmet Skin
  • Keratin
  • Armor
  • Weapons
  • Arrows
  • Raw Meat
  • Raw Prime Meat
  • Hide
  • Rockwell Recipes
  • Berries

5) Skeletal Raptor

Skeletal Raptor

Nothing is scarier than meeting a Raptor as you first start in Ark and the Alpha Raptors are no joke either as they are relentless.

The Skeletal Raptor is a variant of the Alpha Raptor, making it just as deadly and if things were not bad enough, it has an increased amount of damage.

You will need to make the terrain an advantage with this Dino because it can quickly outrun most of your tames and attack while in pursuit.

Below are the Skeletal Raptor drops but not all are guaranteed:

  • Raptor Bone Costume (Guaranteed)
  • Dinosaur Bone
  • Rex Bone Helmet Skin
  • Armor
  • Weapons
  • Arrows
  • Raw Meat
  • Raw Prime Meat
  • Hide
  • Rockwell Recipes
  • Berries

6) Skeletal Brontosaurus

Skeletal Brontosaurus

While the Skeletal Brontosaurus may not attack you on sight, all it takes is one accidental swing and this large dino will fling its tail at you without a second thought.

The knockback of the Skeletal Bronto is just as dangerous as any and the chances of you surviving become very slim if you are in a bad position.

All it takes is one swing of its tail and you can be sent flying off a cliff or even get crushed or killed instantly if you are not ready to face it.

Below are the Skeletal Bronto guaranteed drops:

  • Bronto Bone Costume
  • Dinosaur Bone
  • Sauropod Vertebra
  • Raw Meat
  • Raw Prime Meat
  • Hide

7) Skeletal Trike

Skeletal Trike

The Skeletal Trike is pretty much just an ordinary Trike with a different appearance, but this does not mean that it is not deadly.

With the addition of their charge attack, you can get stunned for a small period, which is enough for the Skeletal Trike to get a few hits in.

Your best bet against these Dinos is to not engage them unless you are ready for a fight and you better keep in mind they get extra protection against larger creatures.

Below are the Skeletal Trike guaranteed drops:

  • Trike Bone Costume
  • Dinosaur Bone
  • Keratin
  • Raw Meat
  • Hide

8) Skeletal Stego

Skeletal Stego

Most may see the Stego as a source of meat but just because it is slow and neutral, this doesn’t mean it won’t put up a fight.

The Skeletal Stego is almost the same as an ordinary Stego and it just has a different appearance thanks to Fear Evolved, making it the only difference.

You should still be careful when fighting these though as they can pick you off of your mounts if they get the angle right or even impale your mounts to cause bleeding.

Below are the Skeletal Stego guaranteed drops:

  • Stego Bone Costume
  • Dinosaur Bone
  • Keratin
  • Raw Meat
  • Raw Prime Meat
  • Hide

9) Skeletal Quetzal

Skeletal Quetzal

While the Quetzalcoatlus may appear to be a large and frightening creature, these are quite skittish and will flee the moment they sense danger.

The Skeletal Quetz will not put up a fight and will simply fly off in a random direction if you attack it but will eventually return to its passive state.

If you are aiming to take this creature down to get Dinosaur Bones as well as its Bone Costume, you might want to bring a flyer that can deal a large amount of damage.

Below are the Skeletal Quetzal guaranteed drops:

  • Quetzalcoaltus Bone Costume
  • Dinosaur Bone
  • Raw Meat
  • Raw Prime Meat
  • Hide

10) Skeletal Jerboa

Skeletal Jerboa

Jerboas were always adorable but the same might not be said about these variants as they are rather creepier since they are Skeletal Variants.

Skeletal Jerboas will not put up a fight and will just run away from anything that attacks them, but you can still go after them for their drops.

If you fancy the Skeletal Jerboa for its Bone Costume, you can easily kill with even the weakest of tames without the worry of it retaliating.

Below are the Skeletal Jerboa guaranteed Drops:

  • Jerboa Bone Costume
  • Dinosaur Bone
  • Raw Meat
  • Hide

What To Consider When Fighting Skeletal Dinos?Fighting Skeletal Dinos

Keep in mind that whatever the original variant of the creature you are facing will still be the same unless you are facing Alpha Variants.

It would be best to bring high level creatures that can withstand and deal a lot of damage as they can pack a punch if you are not prepared.

Bringing a Yutyrannus to buff your Dinos or a Daeodon for healing can boost your chances of coming out alive in a fight with them.

VerdictSkeletal Dinos Group

While the Skeletal Dinos cannot be tamed, you can transform your own tames into them if you manage to kill them and get their Bone Costumes.

This is a fun way to change how things look and can even make them more intimidating to other players during PVP.

Take note that each Dino that you want to equip a Bone Costume will require its own, which means you need one per Dino of that type.
