Ether Cane is a material that is available during the Dawning Event in Destiny 2 that can be obtained by defeating the Fallen.
Its name may not be very specific but its origins come from the Fallen and the technology that they have, probably what makes it have its flavor.
You can use the Ether Cane to make certain goodies that NPCs will love to receive during The Dawning event.
Where To Get Ether Cane?
There are many places where you can farm Ether Cane as long as there are Fallen enemies in the area, making it easier if tons spawn in the area.
How To Get Ether Cane?
Ether Cane has a chance to drop from Fallen enemies when they are killed which makes it a good idea to target areas with several of them.
Every time you defeat a Fallen enemy, there is a chance that an Ether Cane will automatically be obtained.
Lost Sectors are a good way to obtain Ether Canes as you can repeat them over and over again until you have enough.
Ether Cane Uses
You can use Ether Cane to bake certain goods during The Dawning event, which you can later give to certain NPCs.
Recipes that require Ether Cane include the following:
- Gjallardoodles
- Eliksni Birdseed
- Gentleman’s Shortbread
- Infinite Forest Cake
- Hot Crossfire Buns
- Blueberry Crumblers
Verdict
Ether Cane seems to be something that should have resembled the Christmas Candy Cane and is probably a Fallen version of it.
Obtaining Ether Cane will be necessary if you want to make the most out of The Dawning event as well as complete some of its quests.
It would be a good idea to do Lost Sectors where multiple Fallen enemies are present or ones that can easily be repeated such as the ones in EDZ at Trostland.
