Destiny 2 How to Get Charge of Light

Destiny 2 Charge of Light

The Dreaming City holds many wonders within it and one of these is the Blind Well, which requires a Charge of Light to be activated.

Charge of Light is a consumable which is needed for you to begin the Blind Well event, providing you with rewards upon its completion.

There are different tiers when it comes to a Charge of Lights, increasing in difficulty as the tiers get higher for a more challenging activity.

Where to Get Charge of Light?

You can obtain a Charge of Light sometimes as a reward from looting chests or completing activities in the Dreaming City.

This consumable is mainly needed for the Blind Well in the Dreaming City, which is why it is only obtainable there.

How to Get Charge of Light?

Charge of Light can be obtained when looting chests that you can find in Lost Sectors or those scattered around the Dreaming City.

It is much easier to purchase Charge of Light from Petra Venj but you will need to make sure that you have enough Dark Fragments to purchase them.

The following Charge of Light are available:

  • Charge of Light Tier 1 (5 Dark Fragments)
  • Charge of Light Tier 2 (13 Dark Fragments)
  • Charge of Light Tier 3 (20 Dark Fragments)
  • Unstable Charge of Light (35 Dark Fragments)

Charge Of Light Use

You will need a Charge of Light, regardless of the tier to start the Blind Well activity, which will give you different rewards when completed.

Players may advance further with the Charge of Light by placing an Unstable Charge of Light to summon the Plague of the Well boss.

A lot more happens during the Blind Well activity and it is considered to be one of the more endgame activities in Destiny 2.

Charge Of Light Carry Limit

You can only carry 5 Charge of Light at a time and will be unable to purchase more until you have used up the ones you are currently holding.

As you play through the Dreaming City you will eventually get this item and may not even have to buy it later on.
