Frost Abilities
Passive Ability
Frost’s passive ability increases the duration of all Cold Status Effects he inflicts by 100%, making his attacks and abilities more effective at slowing and freezing enemies.
Additionally, his Fortifying Freeze passive grants him 50 bonus Armor for each enemy affected by a Cold Status Effect within Affinity Range, improving his overall durability in combat.
Frost’s Passive can have the Biting Frost Augment Mod equipped, which increases his Critical Chance and Critical Damage against enemies that are frozen by 10 Cold Status Effects.
1) Freeze
Frost unleashes a frigid energy blast that travels forward and explodes upon colliding with an enemy, freezing them in place.
This ability damages both the primary target and nearby enemies and can also be used to destroy Frost’s Snow Globes when necessary.
Freeze (Max Rank)
Stat | Value | Affected By |
Drain | 25 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
| Damage | 150 Cold | Ability Strength |
Area Damage | 50 Cold | Ability Strength |
| Freeze Duration | 5 Seconds | Ability Duration |
Radius | 2 Meters | Ability Range |
Augment Mods:
- Freeze Force allows Frost to empower all of his allies within a certain range with additional Cold Damage for a period when the ability is held. Obtained from Steel Meridian/Cephalon Suda.
2) Ice Wave
When cast, Frost releases a wave of crystallized ice that travels forward, damaging enemies caught in its path.
Enemies that survive the attack may become slowed or frozen, leaving them vulnerable for Frost and his allies to finish them off.
Ice Wave (Max Rank)
Stat | Value | Affected By |
Drain | 50 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
| Damage | 300 Cold | Ability Strength |
Freeze Duration | 10 Seconds | Ability Duration |
| Wave Width | 1.5 Meters | Ability Range |
Wave Length | 10 Meters | Ability Range |
Angle | 30 ° | Ability Range |
Augment Mods:
- Ice Wave Impedance causes Ice Wave to leave a frozen trail that inflicts enemies with the Cold Status every second. Obtained from Steel Meridian/Cephalon Suda.
3) Snow Globe
Frost creates a protective sphere at his location, which initially provides a brief period of invulnerability before shielding those within from damage.
Projectiles fired from outside of the sphere will not be able to penetrate it, and the Snow Globe will have a certain amount of health before it is shattered.
Snow Globe (Max Rank)
Stat | Value | Affected By |
Drain | 50 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
| Radius | 5 Meters | Ability Range |
Cold Status/Second | 0.33 | N/A |
| Freeze Duration | 10 Seconds | Ability Duration |
Health | 5,075 | Ability Strength |
| Time Invulnerable | 4 Seconds | N/A |
Area Damage | 150 cold | Ability Strength |
Augment Mods:
- Chilling Globe provides Snow Globe with a chance to inflict 10 Cold Status Effects on enemies and freeze them. Obtained from Steel Meridian/Cephalon Suda.
4) Avalanche
Frost releases a surge of icy power that freezes enemies in a radius around him, shattering the ice to deal damage while reducing their armor.
The affected enemies remain frozen for a short duration after the shatter, leaving them vulnerable and easy to eliminate.
Avalanche (Max Rank)
Stat | Value | Affected By |
Drain | 100 Energy | Ability Efficiency |
| Damage | 1,500 Cold | Ability Strength |
Radius | 15 Meters | Ability Range |
| Freeze Duration | 8 Seconds | Ability Duration |
Armor Reduction | 60% | Ability Strength |
| Explosion Radius | 4.5 Meters | Ability Range |
Explosion Damage | 400 Cold | Ability Strength |
Augment Mods:
- Icy Avalanche causes allies within Affinity Range to be coated in ice, granting them Overguard based on how many enemies are hit. Overguard also increases by 20% of your Armor once per enemy. Obtained from Steel Meridian/Cephalon Suda.
Verdict
Frost is capable of dealing significant damage while maintaining strong survivability thanks to his high shields, armor, and defensive abilities.
His Snow Globe ability is highly valued by players for protection, while Avalanche remains one of the strongest crowd control tools available in the game.
Using Frost effectively for offense and defense is straightforward, as his abilities are efficient, versatile, and easy to deploy in nearly any mission scenario.
