Frost Abilities

Passive Ability

Frost’s passive ability increases the duration of all Cold Status Effects he inflicts by 100%, making his attacks and abilities more effective at slowing and freezing enemies.

Additionally, his Fortifying Freeze passive grants him 50 bonus Armor for each enemy affected by a Cold Status Effect within Affinity Range, improving his overall durability in combat.

Frost’s Passive can have the Biting Frost Augment Mod equipped, which increases his Critical Chance and Critical Damage against enemies that are frozen by 10 Cold Status Effects.

1) Freeze

Frost unleashes a frigid energy blast that travels forward and explodes upon colliding with an enemy, freezing them in place.

This ability damages both the primary target and nearby enemies and can also be used to destroy Frost’s Snow Globes when necessary.

2) Ice Wave

When cast, Frost releases a wave of crystallized ice that travels forward, damaging enemies caught in its path.

Enemies that survive the attack may become slowed or frozen, leaving them vulnerable for Frost and his allies to finish them off.

3) Snow Globe

Frost creates a protective sphere at his location, which initially provides a brief period of invulnerability before shielding those within from damage.

Projectiles fired from outside of the sphere will not be able to penetrate it, and the Snow Globe will have a certain amount of health before it is shattered.

Verdict

Frost is capable of dealing significant damage while maintaining strong survivability thanks to his high shields, armor, and defensive abilities.

His Snow Globe ability is highly valued by players for protection, while Avalanche remains one of the strongest crowd control tools available in the game.

Using Frost effectively for offense and defense is straightforward, as his abilities are efficient, versatile, and easy to deploy in nearly any mission scenario.
