Epoch Operation: Taubound is a limited-time Warframe event that tasks players with gathering Moonflesh on Eris to help Praghasa prepare for the journey to Tau.
Running from October 15 to November 17, 2026, the Operation brings new rewards, returning event items, and a community-wide objective that everyone can contribute toward.
Players can participate by completing missions, collecting Moonflesh from Infested enemies, and exchanging the resource with Praghasa for rewards before the Operation ends.
What is Epoch Operation: Taubound?
Epoch Operation: Taubound is a one-time community event centered around fueling Praghasa, the Sentient Mothership that will help open the way to the Tau System.
Players contribute to the Operation by collecting Moonflesh on Eris, with the combined efforts of the community gradually unlocking pieces of the Contegorus Armor Set.
The event also features special dialogue from Praghasa, with new narrative messages available each day when players visit her during the Operation.
Unlike recurring Warframe events, Epoch Operation: Taubound will not return after November 17, making its exclusive dialogue and rewards worth checking out while available.
How to Start Epoch Operation: Taubound?
Players only need to complete Vor’s Prize to participate in Epoch Operation: Taubound, making the event accessible even to those who have not reached Eris normally.
During the Operation, Eris mission nodes become temporarily available without requiring players to complete the usual Junctions or Star Chart progression.
Open Navigation, select Eris, and begin completing missions to collect Moonflesh, which can later be exchanged by visiting Praghasa through her dedicated node.
How to Complete Epoch Operation: Taubound?
The main objective is to collect Moonflesh by defeating Infested enemies on Eris, with each successful drop providing 2 Moonflesh on Normal difficulty or 3 on Steel Path.
Special Operation Alerts also appear periodically in Navigation, rewarding 50 Moonflesh on Normal difficulty or 75 on Steel Path when their objectives are completed.
After collecting Moonflesh, visit Praghasa on Eris and use the Provide Moonflesh option to exchange the resource for items available in her reward inventory.
The Operation also tracks the total Moonflesh collected by the community, unlocking the Contegorus Greaves at 30% progress, Pauldrons at 60%, and Chest Plate at 90%.
These armor pieces become available for purchase from Praghasa once their respective community milestones have been reached, rather than being awarded automatically.
Epoch Operation: Taubound Rewards
Praghasa offers a mixture of new cosmetics, returning weapons, Arcanes, and valuable upgrade materials that players can purchase using their collected Moonflesh.
Some rewards are limited to one purchase, including the Legendary Core and three Tauforged Archon Shards, while each available Arcane has a purchase limit of 42.
Notable rewards include:
- Contegorus Armor Set: Three armor pieces unlocked through community progress milestones.
- Vacis Amp Skin: A new cosmetic appearance for compatible Amps.
- Dhampyre Syandana: A new Syandana introduced during the Operation.
- The Moon Killer Honoria: A profile customization associated with the event.
- Haalvu: A returning weapon available through Praghasa.
- Spectra Vandal and Basmu Blueprint: Returning weapon rewards for players who have not obtained them previously.
- Legendary Core: A valuable item that can maximize a Mod’s rank without consuming Endo or Credits.
- Tauforged Archon Shards: Crimson, Azure, and Amber variants for improving Warframe builds.
- Arcanes: Includes Melee Influence, Melee Exposure, Arcane Battery, Secondary Fortifier, and several other options.
- Additional Cosmetics: Includes Glyphs, Sigils, Armor pieces, Emblems, Signas, and other returning event rewards.
Players looking for gameplay-related rewards may want to prioritize the weapons they are missing, Legendary Core, Tauforged Archon Shards, and Arcanes useful for their builds.
Cosmetic collectors should also check Praghasa’s exclusive offerings, particularly the Contegorus Armor Set, which becomes available as the community reaches its milestones.
Tips for Epoch Operation: Taubound
Operation Alerts are generally the better choice for earning Moonflesh quickly because they provide guaranteed completion rewards alongside any Moonflesh dropped by Infested enemies.
When no Alerts are available, regular Eris missions can still provide Moonflesh, making endless missions useful for players who prefer continuously fighting Infested enemies.
Steel Path provides larger Moonflesh rewards, although Normal difficulty may be more efficient for players who cannot comfortably clear the tougher enemies.
Resource Boosters do not increase Moonflesh gains because it is classified as an Operation currency, so purchasing a booster specifically for the event is unnecessary.
Players belonging to a Clan should also check the Event tab in Navigation, as the Moonflesh collected by Clan members contributes toward special Clan Trophies awarded after the Operation.
Verdict
Epoch Operation: Taubound gives players a reason to return to Eris while contributing to the preparations for Warframe’s upcoming journey beyond the Origin System.
The event is straightforward to participate in, with Operation Alerts providing an efficient way to collect Moonflesh and purchase rewards from Praghasa.
Since this is a one-time Operation, players should check Praghasa’s offerings and collect their desired rewards before November 17, 2026.
