Warframe: How to Get Haalvu (Stats & Effects)

Haalvu is a Sentient primary weapon that unleashes rapid artillery fire and features an alternate firing mode capable of targeting multiple enemies simultaneously.

The weapon deals Tau damage with both firing modes, allowing players to make use of a damage type associated with Sentient technology.

Players can obtain Haalvu during Epoch Operation: Taubound by collecting Moonflesh and exchanging it for the weapon through Praghasa on Eris.

How to Get Haalvu?

Haalvu can be purchased from Praghasa for 150 Moonflesh during Epoch Operation: Taubound, which runs until November 17, 2026.

Praghasa can be accessed through a special node on Eris, with players who have completed Vor’s Prize temporarily receiving access to the planet during the Operation.

Once inside Praghasa, interact with the available offerings and select Haalvu to purchase the weapon using the Moonflesh collected from participating in the event.

Players must have reached Mastery Rank 14 to purchase Haalvu, and the weapon is limited to one purchase per customer.

How to Farm Moonflesh for Haalvu?

Moonflesh can be obtained by defeating Infested enemies on Eris, with eligible enemies having a chance to drop 2 Moonflesh on Normal difficulty or 3 on Steel Path.

Completing Operation Alerts provides a guaranteed 50 Moonflesh on Normal difficulty or 75 on Steel Path, along with additional drops from defeated Infested enemies.

This means players can earn enough Moonflesh for Haalvu by completing three Normal Alerts or two Steel Path Alerts, even without counting enemy drops.

Haalvu Stats

Haalvu features two firing modes with different critical and status statistics, allowing players to switch between automatic fire and its multi-target alternate mode.

Both firing modes have alarming noise levels and no innate Punch Through, with the weapon’s damage consisting entirely of Tau damage.

Haalvu Alternate Fire

Haalvu’s primary firing mode functions as an automatic rifle, delivering continuous shots with a higher Critical Chance and Critical Damage multiplier than its alternate mode.

Using alternate fire splits Haalvu into separate rifles that can track up to four enemies simultaneously, allowing shots to be distributed across multiple targets.

The alternate mode has a higher Status Chance but consumes more ammunition per shot, making it better suited to engaging groups rather than maintaining sustained fire against one enemy.

Players can switch between the two firing modes depending on whether they need concentrated damage or the ability to attack several enemies at once.

Tips for Using Haalvu

Use the automatic firing mode when concentrating damage on a single enemy, since its higher Critical Chance and Critical Damage make it more suitable for focused attacks.

Switch to the alternate firing mode when facing groups of enemies, taking advantage of its ability to track several targets without manually aiming at each one.

Keep an eye on the weapon’s ammunition consumption when using alternate fire, as attacking multiple targets can drain the magazine faster than regular shooting.

Haalvu’s two firing modes also benefit from different modding priorities, with critical-focused builds favoring automatic fire and status-focused builds making better use of its alternate mode.

Verdict

Haalvu is an unusual Sentient weapon that combines rapid automatic fire with a multi-target alternate mode, giving players two ways to engage enemies.

Its innate Tau damage and distinct critical and status statistics provide several possibilities for builds, although the alternate mode consumes ammunition more quickly.

With a purchase cost of only 150 Moonflesh, Haalvu is a relatively accessible reward for players who meet its Mastery Rank requirement during Epoch Operation: Taubound.
