Techrot Encore introduced a few new items that you can collect and one of these is Beating Heartstrings.
This resource is more of a currency that is used to get your hands on Temple, the guitar-rocking Warframe, and his signature weapon.
Obtaining Beating Heartstrings is limited to only one location in Hollvania though, which makes it quite a grind but worth it later.
These curious Techrot growths still quivered in sympathy with Temple’s music long after the gig was over.
Where To Farm Beating Heartstrings?
Beating Heartstrings can only be obtained in Hollvania and this is within a specific Game Mode called Solstice Square.
Solstice Square is the new Defense Mission that was added when the Techrot Encore Update was released.
You may access Solstice Square by interacting with the POM-2 PC found in the Garage in the Hollvania Central Mall or the Backroom.
How To Farm Beating Heartstrings?
To obtain Beating Heartstrings, you will need to progress through waves during the Solstice Square Defense Mission.
Unlike the other Defense Missions, Solstice Square provides you with rewards each time you complete 3 waves of enemies.
The amount of Beating Heartstrings you obtain will be in the amount of 4 to 9 in the regular Solstice Square Mission and 8 to 12 when on the Steel Path.
The more you progress with the mission, the more Beating Heartstrings you may obtain but the amount does not increase the longer it goes.
This has made it necessary for some players to extract and repeat when reaching certain rotations to avoid taking on difficult enemies that take longer to kill.
Beating Heartstrings Uses
Beating Heartstrings are used to make purchases from Flare Varleon (Temple Protoframe), which sells the Temple Blueprint and Component Blueprints.
Additionally, the Riot-848 Blueprint and its Component Blueprints are also available from Flare Varleon as well as some furnishings.
The furnishings sold by Temple Varleon are related to instruments and other items that a band would usually have at a studio or on the go.
Verdict
Obtaining Beating Heartstrings is not that difficult despite the high level of the enemies that you face in the Solstice Square Mission.
It would be a good idea to bring Warframes that can take out the enemies quickly or damage several enemies in a large area to progress through the waves easily.
While most players will only collect this resource for the Temple Warframe and the Riot-848 Weapon, others may continue farming to purchase furnishings to use as decorations.
