Pix Chips are a type of currency obtainable in Hollvania and are used when purchasing Kaya Velasco at the Hollvania Central Mall.
This currency is a bit more difficult to obtain from the rest as they are tied to the Temporal Archimedea activity that was introduced in the Techrot Encore Update.
Obtaining Pix Chips can be done in more than one way and getting a bunch of these can be useful for buying certain items from Kaya.
Kaya Velasco in the Hollvania Mall accepts these Pix Chips in exchange for Peely Paks.
Where To Farm Pix Chips?
Pix Chips are exclusive to the Temporal Archimedea activity, which is accessible by speaking to Kaya Veslaco.
Doing a Temporal Archimedea activity will put you up to the task of completing 3 difficult missions that rotate weekly.
How To Farm Pix Chips?
1) Peely Paks
Peely Paks will provide you with Peely Pix when obtained and you can get these by either completing Temporal Archimedea with at least 15 Research Points.
When you already have a maxed-out Peely Pix, any duplicates of them will be converted into a Pix Chip, making this available after several runs.
Pix Chips may also be used to purchase Pix Paks, which is a good way of filling up your Peely Pix to be able to easily farm Pix Chips later.
2) Temporal Archimedea
Pix Chips can be obtained as rewards for completing the Temporal Archimedea activity but to have them drop, you need to ensure a few things are set.
When doing the activity, you may equip Individual Parameters, which includes using one of the weekly Warframes and weapons to increase your Research Points.
Pix Chips will drop when you run the activity with 28 and 37 Research Points, providing you with Pix Chip packs that grant 6 or 9 Pix Chips.
3) Peely Pix
Equipping Peely Pix on your Temporal Archimedea will provide you with bonus Pix Chips on a certain mission out of the 3.
These include Optimism, It Sees You, and the Old Pizza Peely Pix and you can have 1 per mission if you prefer to get a bonus for all missions.
Peely Pix will only grant you Pix Chips once per week, which makes it a small bonus compared to completing the activity with higher Research Points.
Pix Chips Uses
Pix Chips are used to make purchases from Kaya Velasco, which can be done by speaking to her and selecting the “Browse Wares” option.
You may purchase Peely Paks, Vosfer Caches, a display for Peely Pix that you have and even the new Arcanes added in the Techrot Encore Update.
The Techrot Encore new Arcanes include Arcane Universal Fallout, Arcane Hot Shot, and Arcane Escapist.
Verdict
Temporal Archimedea on its own is already a great way to farm some valuable items and the Pix Chips that you can get make it all the more better.
Farming Pix Chips may take some time to begin as you will want to make sure you have all the Peely Pix before doing this.
The Arcanes that Kaya Velasco sells have a limited stock, making it a good idea to buy them weekly when you have the Pix Chips for them.
