The Techrot Encore Update introduced a new Stage Defense mission to Warframe that challenges you with the task of protecting Temple.
You will find him shredding his guitar on stage at what appears to have been a concert but instead of the normal audience, Scaldra and even Techrot have come.
Your goal will be to keep Temple safe as several waves of enemies appear so that he may keep rocking his heart out.
How To Start Solstice Square?
Solstice Square is accessible from the Hollvania Map, which you can access by opening the POM-2 PC at the Central Mall or the Backroom.
Solstice Square Mechanics
The mission begins with you exiting the Central Mall on your Atomicycle, where you will be making your way to the area where the concert takes place.
You will find Temple by himself, rocking on stage, and just as you arrive, the waves will begin the start, and you will need to defend him.
Enemies will come from multiple directions, which makes it necessary to have Warframes that can deal damage in a large area or those who can keep Temple safe.
Be sure to watch out for the speakers though as they can produce a large blast that will stagger you for a short moment.
Unlike with the other Defense Missions you may have played, the Rotations in Solstice Square will be for every 3 waves.
After the first rotation, Temple will rock so hard on his guitar that the stage collapses, bringing you underground where the mission continues.
Scaldra Screamer
Scaldra Screamers are a special type of enemy that appear during the last wave of each rotation and are more durable than other enemies.
You will be alerted by their arrival since there will be a transmission where they are doing their screaming/singing along with the music at the concert.
Defeating a Scaldra Screamer will provide you with an Unidentified Item, which will be revealed when the mission is over.
The Unidentified Item will later be revealed to be one of these items:
- Arcane Bellicose
- Arcane Camisado
- Arcane Crepuscular
- Arcane Impetus
- Arcane Truculence
- Melee Doughty
- Primary Crux
- Secondary Enervate

Solstice Square (Defense) can be quite a challenge for those who have not fully prepared their builds for their Warframes and weapons, which makes it ideal to team up.
Prioritizing Warframes that can deal damage in a large area can make it easier to wipe out most enemies, especially since they come from all directions.
Beating Heartstrings can be obtained during this mission, which is used to make purchases from Flare at the Hollvania Mall.
