Destiny 2 How To Get Cerberus+1 & It’s Catalyst (2024)

Destiny 2 Cerberus+1“Because three heads are good, but four are better.” – Jeza “Jeopardy” Verlayn

The Cerberus+1 is an Exotic Auto Rifle that is more of a makeshift weapon, being a combination of different barrels put together.

This Exotic Auto Rifle fires multiple rounds through its many barrels which can reach up to 360 rounds per minute with a magazine capacity of 31.

The different barrels make the projectiles more erratic but this becomes easier to handle once a catalyst has been obtained for this weapon.

How To Get Cerberus+1?

The Cerberus+1 can be obtained from opening Exotic Engrams, which are obtainable through missions or defeating enemies.

This Exotic Auto Rifle may also be obtained from opening Powerful Engrams that can be obtained as rewards from completing weekly milestones.

(Note: The Cerberus+1 has several barrel perks which each affect a different barrel)

Below we’ve linked to our guides that helps you to get the other Exotic Weapons in Destiny 2

Cerberus+1 Intrinsic Traits

Four-headed Dog

The Cerberus+1 shoots erratic bullets from all gun barrels at the same time.

This makes the Cerberus+1 fire off different projectiles, with some being accurate and others inaccurate as shown by the different types of barrels that it has.

You can stabilize the aim of the Cerberus+1 by aiming down the sites thanks to the Spread Shot Package perk.

The close you are to your targets, the more likely you are to hit them with this quad-barreled auto rifle.

How to Get Cerberus+1 Catalyst?

Focused Fire

The Cerberus+1 Catalyst provides the Cerberus+1 with the Focused Fire perk, which provides you with the ability to change the weapon’s spread.

With the Focused Fire perk, you will be able to swap between the normal and a tighter, close-ranged spread by holding the reload.

You may obtain the Cerberus+1 Catalyst by defeating non-Guardian enemies anywhere throughout the system.

Once you have the Cerberus+1 Catalyst, you may unlock its upgrade by defeating 500 enemies when using the weapon.

Verdict

Using a Photonic Heart, this weapon was put together and although its spread is scattered, it is quite a dangerous weapon up close.

Aiming with the Cerberus+1 is enough to increase its accuracy but with its catalyst, you can greatly improve its aim with the Focused Fire perk.

This Exotic Auto Rifle functions similarly to an automatic shotgun and can be used at close ranges for more effective damage.
