With Season of the Witch in play, Guardians have breached Savathun’s Spire and are exploring it to find what secrets lie within.
Aside from being one of the main activities for the season, Savathun’s Spire also has a few hidden treasures that players can look for.
Finding these chests will involve solving simple puzzles and to do this, it would be best to bring weapons that can deal different types of damage.
All Week 1 Savathun’s Spire Secret Chest Locations
Savathun’s Spire Chest 1 (Ascent)
The first Savathun’s Spire Chest may be found once you reach the first set of traps that look like large flails coming from the ceiling.
You will need to hit the purple Glyph using Void Damage to begin the sequence before you continue jumping up on the platforms.
Once you reach the highest platform, look down from the side and you will see an orange glyph, which you must deal Solar Damage to activate.
After activating this glyph, turn around and keep to the right side before heading to the next area as the chest will be near.
Next to the path that leads to the objective, there will be a glyph and a path below it, which you must shoot to make the chest appear.
Head into the path below the glyph by jumping up to it and you will find the first Savathun’s Spire Chest inside a small room.
Opening this chest will complete Secrets of the Spire I. (Activate the first set of elemental runes in the Ascent)
Savathun’s Spire Chest 2 (Labyrinth)
The second Savathun’s Spire Chest can be found after you go through the glyph doors and traps, which later take you across multiple platforms until you reach the next area.
Beneath the bridge you will find 4 glyphs (2 Void and 2 Solar) which you need to damage with the right element to make the second Savathun’s Chest appear at the end.
All Week 2 Savathun’s Spire Secret Chest Locations
Week 2 of the Season of the Witch is here and Savathun’s Spire has changed a bit as the previous chests are now gone and new ones are now available.
As you progress through Savathun’s Spire, you won’t be able to notice these hidden treasures if you speed your way through the activity.
By doing a bit of looking around, you will be able to get your hands on some of these chests, and to make things easier, we’ll show you where they are.
Savathun’s Spire Chest 3 (Ascent)
Savathun’s Spire Chest 3 can be found after you have ascended from the first area where you disrupted a ritual and can be found before you cross the gap with 3 hanging flail traps.
Before jumping across, you may turn to your right and notice that there is an entrance that you can head over to by jumping.
Go ahead and jump across and you will be able to see the chest from the very end but this does not mean things are going to be that easy.
After grabbing the chest, the exit will be blocked off for a bit and you will need to avoid an Enduring Executioner for a short duration.
The Enduring Executioner will appear after you grab the chest though, so it does not matter if he gets you in the end or not.
Either way, as long as you take what’s in the chest, the reward is yours and you can head on to find the second one which appears a little later.
Savathun’s Spire Chest 4 (Labyrinth)
The next Savathun’s Spire chest will be in the Labyrinth just after you have finished jumping down to one of the doors with glyphs above them.
Once you have gone through the right door, you will find yourself at a crossing that needs to be jumped over to get to a lift.
Instead of jumping over to the lift on the other side, jump down and you will find Deepsight Energy around the corner.
Interact with Deepsight Energy and it will reveal a set of platforms that you may now climb on top of to get to a hidden area.
Jump to the very end and you will find a chest with a portal that leads you past the lift area, allowing you to skip through the area that you were supposed to cross.
This will allow you to obtain the chest and reach the end of the Labyrinth faster, making it a shortcut that has a reward on the side.
These 2 new chest locations will be active during Week 2 of Season of the Witch and have replaced the first couple that were originally in the activity.
If you missed out on the first 2, you may have to wait for another rotation if they will still return later in the upcoming weeks.
It is best to get your hands on these as soon as possible and if you plan on speedrunning your way through the activities, using these shortcuts can be a big help.
Savathun’s Spire Chest Rewards
Whenever you open a Savathun’s Spire Chest for the first time, you will unlock a triumph and receive the following drops:
- Season of the Witch Weapon/Armor
- Feeble Offering
- Robust Offering
- Powerful Offering
- Ritual Table Reputation

Not only does finding these chests provide a challenge for players who delve into this season’s activities, but there are also rewards to be obtained.
Aside from triumphs, Guardians can get Legendary Gear and offerings to use in the Altars of Summoning activity for even more rewards.
It is important to make sure that you have the right weapon to deal damage to the glyphs based on what element they represent.
