Diablo 4 All Aspects Guide (How to Get & Use, Effects)

Upgrading your character can be done in different ways and one of them is to equip better equipment but stats are not enough to make them stronger.

Legendary Equipment comes with Aspects, which can either be imbued on items that you pick up or imprinted to alter a Rare or Legendary weapon. (Rare turns into Legendary)

Each season allows you to collect Aspects that your characters in the Seasonal Realm may use while those in the Eternal Realm are kept after a season.

How To Get Aspects?

Completing Dungeons

There are several dungeons found all over Sanctuary, which may be completed to obtain Aspects depending on which ones you finish.

Each of the Aspects is tied to a specific dungeon and every season you can target the ones you want to complete for the Aspects that you want.

Salvaging Legendary Equipment

Not all Aspects come from dungeons as some may only be obtained by salvaging Legendary Items to extract them.

Salvaging Legendary Items can be done at a Blacksmith and there will be a tooltip and icon showing if a new Aspect will be unlocked or if one will be upgraded.

Aspect Mastery

Each Aspect has a certain Mastery, which can be upgraded if you continue to salvage Legendary Items with the same Aspect until the maximum is reached.

Aspect Mastery determines how effective the Aspect will be once you have imprinted an item with it, providing better stats for higher Aspect Mastery.

How To Use Aspects?

Once an Aspect has been added to your collection by completing a dungeon or salvaging another Legendary Item with one, you can later imprint an item with it.

This can be done by visiting the Occultist, who has the Imprint Item service, and selecting either an item first or an Aspect.

After choosing, you will be able to select what Aspect to apply to an item or which item an Aspect will be applied to, which will cost materials depending on their level.

Verdict

With the start of each Season, new characters will have to obtain their Aspects again but those who remain in the Eternal Realm keep what was previously collected.

The cost of imprinting your equipment increases with the need for more valuable materials as the level of your equipment increases.

As you progress through each season, Aspect Mastery can be increased by salvaging and this provides you with higher stats as you jump to higher difficulties.
