Diablo 4 Season 8 New Unique Items

With every season, more and more features are added to Diablo 4, and among the many great things players can get are the new Unique items.

A Unique Item for each class has been added to the game in Season 8: Belial’s Return, giving you even more ways to enhance your builds.

Obtaining Unique Items remains the same and it will be a matter of no time before you can grab new equipment to prepare yourself against the monsters in Sanctuary.

How To Get Unique Items?

Unique items are often obtained as rare drops and these may be obtained on almost any difficulty, but it is much easier to grab them on Torment I.

Once you reach Torment 1, you don’t have to rely on random drops all the time because the Liar Bosses have certain drops that give you a good chance to get the items you want.

Defeating monsters, opening rewards chests, and beating bosses to open their Hoards will provide you with a good chance to get good loot as you change to higher difficulties.

All Season 8 Unique Items and Effects

While most unique items feature specific stats and will have different roles, the main thing players are concerned about is what effects they provide.

Below are the new Unique Items in Diablo 4’s Season 8: Belial’s Return and their effects:

Unique Item

TypeClass

Effect

Hail of Verglas

Helm

Sorceress

Ice Shards now spread out with 2 additional shards. You deal [1%-1.5%] increased damage for each time Ice Shards damages an enemy for 5 seconds, up to [50%-75%].

Bane of Ahjed-Den

Gloves

Barbarian

Every 12 seconds, your next Mighty Throw detonates its pulse instantly as Fire Damage and deals [400%-600%] increased damage.

Sanquivor, Blade of Zir

Two-Hand Sword

Necromancer

Your Summons’ damage afflicts enemies with Vampiric Curse. Consuming a Corpse also contributes a soul to Vampiric Curse, which can now stack up to 20 souls.

Band of Ichorous Rose

Gloves

Rogue

Poison Trap always deals its full damage over 3 seconds and it benefits from all its upgrades, which are increased by [50%-100%]. Poison Trap also benefits from Combo Points, has no Cooldown during Inner Sight, and has Cooldown replaced by Preparation.

Sunbird’s Gorget

Amulet

Spiritborn

Picking up a Storm Feather forms a firestorm around you for 8 seconds dealing [200%-400%] Fire damage every 0.5 seconds. Every 5 additional Storm Feathers you pick up intensifies the firestorm, increasing its damage by 100% but not refreshing its duration. Storm Feathers are now Jaguar Skills, and the firestorm is an Eagle, Jaguar, and Storm Feather Skill.

Gathlen’s Birthright

Helm

Druid

While in Human form, Critical Striking enemies Nature Magic [400-200] times grants you Anima of the Forest for 15 seconds. (Anima of the Forest provides you with the Perfect Storm and Earthen Might Key Passives)

Verdict

Since each of the classes has gotten a new Unique Item to play with, this can be a great time to try out a new class or build.

Some of the Unique Items work well with the new Aspects, making it a good idea to mix and match if they go well with the build you are working on.

Unique Items often have different stats, which makes it sometimes worth the grind to defeat Lair Bosses until you get a good roll.
