Diablo 4 Season 8 Aspects Guide (How to Get & Effects)

With the release of Season 8: Belial’s Return, Diablo 4 players can now experience creating new builds using newly added Aspects.

These include a total of 6 new aspects for each of the classes and characters in both Seasonal and Eternal Realms can grab them.

Depending on what character you are using, some of these Aspects may be a huge game changer while others may feel like using them to spice things up.

How To Get Season 8 New Aspects?

Like the previous seasons, these new Aspects that were introduced in Season 8 won’t be available from completing dungeons and instead are obtained through salvaging.

To get these Aspects, you will need to progress to the point where you can start getting Legendary equipment and hope for it to have the Aspect that you want.

Once you have Legendary equipment that has one of the new Aspects, you may salvage it at a Blacksmith and the Aspect will be added to your collection.

All New Aspects in Season 8: Belial’s Return

1) Aspect of Contamination (Rogue)

The Aspect of Contamination for Rogues boosts their Poison Trap skill, which causes it to burst for an additional [10%-30%] of its total normal damage when triggered.

If the Poison Trap Skill happens to Critically Strike, this will cause you to deal [20%-40%] increased Poison damage for 9 seconds.

2) Aspect of Delayed Extinction (Barbarian)

The Aspect of Delayed Extinction affects both Barbarian’s Mighty Throw and Steel Grasp skills, which adds more to the damage that they deal.

This causes both skills to have multiplicative damage instead of cooldown based on your Cooldown Reduction along with a [125%-250%] increase in damage.

3) Aspect of Impending Deluge (Druid)

Druids were given a new Aspect to play with in Season 8, which is the Aspect of Impending Deluge, which affects their Storm Strike skill.

This causes Storm Strike to chain to twice as many targets as well as cause affected enemies to take [30%-50%] more damage from your other skills.

4) Aspect of Service and Sacrifice (Necromancer)

Skeletal Warriors lose 25% life per second and explode on death while Skeletal Mages deal [50%-100%] more damage and take 90% less damage.

5) Rip and Tear Aspect (Spiritborn)

Spiritborns gained the Rip and Tear Aspect with the release of Season 8, which affects the Rushing Claw (Jaguar) skill.

This causes Rushing Claw to deal [10%-30%] more damage while also having empowered effects based on how many charges you have.

6) Shivering Aspect (Sorceress)

The Shivering Aspect boosts the damage that a Sorceress can deal to enemies who are Chilled or Staggered enemies.

This also causes your character to apply 15% more chill to your targets, making it more effective and giving you an advantage over them being crowd-controlled.

Verdict

These Aspects are only obtainable by specific classes since they are tied to certain skills that the classes use, meaning if you want all of them, you will need more characters.

The use of the Season 8 New Aspects can change some of your builds and if you use skills that they affect, you might want to check them out.

Aspects obtained in the Eternal Realm are not shared with the Seasonal Realm, making it necessary to get what you need depending on which realm you are playing in.
