Necromancers are famous for their ability to raise the dead to fight alongside them and some of the most popular summons they have are the two types of skeletons.
While there are limited builds when it comes to summoner-type Necromancers, the Aspect of Service and Sacrifice provides you with a whole new twist.
Now you can choose between suicide bomber Skeletal Warriors or empowered and longer-lasting Skeletal Mages or even have both.
Aspect of Service and Sacrifice Effects
The Aspect of Service and Sacrifice affects both your Skeleton Warriors and Skeleton Mages, making it necessary to have both or choose which ones you want.
Skeletal Warriors will lose 25% of their Life per second while they are in combat and will end up exploding to deal a large amount of damage.
Skeletal Mages will become stronger and more durable, taking 90% less damage from enemies and gaining a [50%-100%] increase in damage.
Aspect of Service and Sacrifice Acquisition
To get the Aspect of Service and Sacrifice, you will first need to find a piece of Legendary equipment that already has it and salvage it at the Blacksmith.
An example of such an item would be the Spinal Wand of Service and Sacrifice (Legendary Wand), which we obtained earlier with a Necromancer.
Tips
Choosing to utilize both the Skeletal Warriors and Skeletal Mages will require that you can often create corpses or kill several enemies to have enough to replenish them.
Since the Skeletal Warriors will often end up losing their life and exploding, having skills, passives, and Aspects that help create corpses will be vital.
Using only Skeletal Mages can serve as your backup when you tend to fight without Skeletal Warriors, especially with their increase in damage.
Verdict
The higher the mastery of the Aspect of Service and Sacrifice, the higher the stats for the Skeletal Warriors and Skeletal Mages will be.
Some may find it better to stick with one type of Skeleton summon as maintaining both may be difficult until later on when you can quickly spawn corpses.
The Aspect of Service and Sacrifice may appear on different types of items but will have better stats on a two-handed weapon.
