Druids have control over the elements of nature and some of their powerful attacks include the use of lighting.
Storm Strike is a basic skill that some Druids make use of, and the Aspect of Impending Deluge modifies it further.
Not only does this Aspect affect the number of enemies hit by its chains but it also causes your targets to take increased damage.
Aspect of Impending Deluge Effects
The Aspect of Impending Deluge increases the amount of chains that Storm Strike has and increases the amount of damage that enemies take from your other skills.
This causes Storm Strike to chain to twice as many targets with each hit and afterward, those affected will take [30%-50%] additional damage for 6 seconds.
Each time Storm Strike is cast, the additional damage that enemies take will be reset, allowing you to continuously make them receive more damage.
Aspect of Impending Deluge Acquisition
Ever since the Aspect of Impending Deluge was introduced in Season 8: Belial’s Return, this Aspect may now be obtained by salvaging Legendary Items.
As an Offensive Aspect, the Aspect of Impending Deluge may be obtained from salvaging items such as the Elder Shive of Impending Deluge. (Legendary Dagger)
Tips
Aspect of Impending Deluge can boost your build significantly when you are starting a new character as it makes it easy to take out enemies since they will take more damage.
When equipped with the Greatstaff of the Crone, Druid’s Claw Skills also cast Storm Strike, which may benefit from Aspect of Impending Deluge. (Needs further testing)
Several enemies are hit by the chain attacks from Storm Strike once it has this Aspect, making it easy to clear large groups of enemies.
Verdict
Storm Strike may be a Basic Skill but with Aspect of Impending Deluge and additional upgrades to your build, it can become very powerful.
Making use of the effects of Aspect of Impending Deluge for Claw Builds once you have Staff of the Crone can make your building extremely efficient.
Storm Strike along with Aspect of Impending Deluge are affected by other stats or passives and may later become overpowered depending on your build.
