When it comes to slaying your enemies by turning them into frozen corpses, using the Shivering Aspect can easily make quick work of your targets.
Shivering Aspect is an Offensive Aspect that was added in Season 8: Belial’s Return for the Sorceress Class, which mainly boosts builds that deal Cold Damage.
Providing you with not only additional damage against Chilled enemies, Shivering Aspect makes it easier to apply this Status Ailment.
Shivering Aspect Effects
Shivering Aspect causes enemies that you attack to take [35%-55%] increased damage based on how chilled or staggering they are.
Additionally, this aspect causes you to apply 15% more chill, which makes it easier for you to deal increased damage to targets that you are attacking.
Chilled is often applied by damaging enemies with Cold Attacks, which eventually lead to them becoming frozen and this makes it easier to get free hits.
How to Get Shivering Aspect?
Shivering Aspect was introduced in the Season 8 update and can only be obtained by Salvaging equipment that has it.
An example of an item that provides you with the Shivering Aspect would be the Shivering Echo Circle. (Legendary Ring)
Tips
Shivering Aspect is perfect for Sorceress Builds that mainly focus on dealing Cold Damage, such as those that utilize Frozen Orb or Ice Shards.
The more an enemy is Chilled, the more damage you will be able to deal to them, and this Status Ailment can easily be applied if all your Skills deal Cold Damage.
While this Aspect focuses on dealing more damage to Chilled enemies, those who are Frozen will still be affected and will also take additional damage.
Verdict
Some of the more popular buildings that may utilize the Shivering Aspect include Frozen Orb for AOE burst attacks or Ice Shards for focusing your damage on targets.
Builds that focus on unleashing Cold Damage with more than just Core Skills will end up providing you with a large bonus increase as this makes it easy to Chill enemies.
As long as you are able to Chill or Stagger your enemies, your attacks against them afterward should be boosted by Shivering Aspect.
