Warframe 1999 brought a lot of new features to the game and the whole new feel of a different timeline hit the spot for several players.
However, things didn’t just stop there as the Techrot Encore Update introduced even more features, including a new Adversary, the Technocyte Coda.
The Technocyte Coda are imitations of the On-lyne members in the form of the Techrot, who target you if you happen to fiddle around with their mixtapes.
How To Get Technocyte Coda?
To begin the fight against a Technocyte Coda, you will first need to obtain their mixtape, which can be done in the following missions in Hollvania:
After obtaining a mixtape, you will need to bring it to any of the marked terminals on your map and hack it, which will result in you obtaining a Technocyte Coda adversary.
You can check them at any time by opening your menu and selecting the green adversary icon near the bottom right of your screen.
Opening the Technocyte Coda/Adversary Screen will allow you to view their weaknesses, immunities, rewards, and Antivirus Attempts.
Technocyte Coda Walkthrough
Find Technocyte Coda Mixtape
Start either an Exterminate, Hel-Scrub, or Legacyte Harvest mission and proceed with completing the objectives as you normally would.
During the mission, a mixtape is bound to drop eventually after you have started killing a few enemies and this will be marked on your map when it appears.
Head to the mixtape and pick it up and this will cause nearby terminals to show on your map, which is where you will bring it.
Upload Technocyte Mixtape
Head to the nearest terminal and interact with it to begin hacking, which will have you play the “Snake” game to complete the hack. (You can skip this with a Cipher)
Upon successfully hacking the terminal, you will now be able to view your Technocyte Coda adversary when you open your menu.
Be careful not to swap weapons while you are heading to the terminal or else you will drop the mixtape since it needs to be held and brought to the terminal.
Malware Disinfection
A Malware Infection will be present when you view the NavNow, which will show you where you can encounter Duets.
Duets are the other band members who attack you during missions that are marked on the NavNow and completing these missions will progress the Malware Disinfection.
The Malware Disinfect needs to progress to 100% before you can proceed with facing your Technocyte Coda in a final confrontation.
During missions where Duets may appear, you will have a chance to fight two at a time, and successfully weakening them will allow you to inject them with your Parazon.
Your Parazon will have to be equipped with an Antivirus Mod (You can equip multiple Antivirus Mods) to boost your Malware Disinfection progress.
There are different Antivirus Mods and only by testing them out will you be able to figure out which one is needed for the Technocyte Coda and the Duet members.
Once you have figured out which Antivirus Mod is correct, you may remove the others and use a Potency Mod to boost your progress whenever you inject them.
Technocyte Coda Concert
Upon reaching 100% progress with the Malware Disinfection, the Technocyte Coda will flee to the Earth Proxima, where you may confront them.
Access the Star Chart to select Railjack and select Earth Proxima, which is where you will find a mission called Technocyte Coda Concert.
Once the mission begins, you will start in your Railjack and will have to head to the speakers near the stadium and destroy them.
Upon approaching the speakers, you will be attacked by Techrot enemies and will have to clear your Railjack of them as well as the Hive Infestations before you can destroy a speaker.
After destroying two speakers, the stadium will be accessible, and you may proceed with approaching and entering it. (You must get out of your Railjack and fly over)
Approach the stadium’s entrance and once you are close enough, there will be an option to enter the stadium to start the final confrontation.
Begin by making your way inside and you will see a large screen showing the member of On-lyne that the Technocyte Coda has imitated.
Destroy the screen and you may proceed heading toward the stage, which will begin a cutscene where the band appears.
There will be a phase where you need to avoid the stage attacks, which include lights, fireworks, waves of flame, and more.
Getting hit by the stage attacks will cause you to take more damage from the band later, which makes it important to avoid them.
Once the stage attacks are done, members of the band will begin to attack you, and they will all need to be defeated.
After defeating the band members, another set of stage attacks will begin and just like before, you will need to avoid them.
After the second set of stage attacks, you may proceed with fighting the band again but this time, your Technocyte Coda adversary will appear, and you can finish them off.
Once the Technocyte Coda has been defeated, you may approach them and interact with them to begin purging them.
This will give you a choice to convert the Technocyte Coda or to Vanquish them, which will both have slightly different rewards.
After making your decision, you may leave the stadium by interacting with the Esophage which is marked by a waypoint to return to your Railjack before returning to your dojo.
Should You Convert or Vanquish Technocyte Coda?
You will have the option to convert your Technocyte Coda or vanquish them, which will affect the rewards that you get.
Vanquishing a Technocyte Coda will provide you with more rewards, mainly in the form of Live Heartcells while converting them will allow you to make them your ally.
Technocyte Coda that have been turned into allies may be assigned to your Railjack or may assist you on missions.
How To Reveal The Correct Antivirus Mods?
Your Parazon may have Antivirus Mods and/or Potency Mods equipped in the top layer, which gives you 3 slots to equip them in.
Instead of equipping a single Antivirus Mod and multiple Potency Mods, you should equip 3 Antivirus Mods before injecting a Duet member.
This provides you with a good way to check which Antivirus Mod is correct faster since you have 3 to test out instead of doing them one by one.
How To Speed Up Malware Disinfection With Potency Mods?
After you have discovered which Antivirus Mod is correct, you may replace the other two Antivirus Slots with Potency Mods.
Potency Mods provide you with bonus Malware Disinfection progress and you may use up to two at a time along with the Antivirus Mod.
This can give you up to a 30% bonus for Malware Disinfection progress, which makes it easier to jump to the final confrontation with your Technocyte Coda.
Malware Disinfection Progress Stuck At 95%
If your Malware Disinfection Progress is stuck at 90% or 95% regardless of how many missions you complete, this can either be because you are not playing the right mission.
Make sure that the missions you complete are marked as locations where Duet members will appear as these are what provide 5% progress.
If you are doing the correct mission and are stuck at 95%, this will require that your last Malware Disinfection progress will require that you inject the Duet band members.
Technocyte Coda Rewards
When it comes to the rewards for defeating a Technocyte Coda, your choice during purging them will affect what you receive in your Inbox.
The difference will often be that Vanquished Technocyte Coda will provide you with Live Heartcells while converting them pretty much allows you to keep them.
Players who want to obtain Coda Weapons from Eleanor will be able to use Live Heartcells to make purchases from her.

Farming rewards from Technocyte Codas can be easy, especially with the help of Potency Mods as they increase the Malware Disinfection progress.
