Warframe: Nova Builds (2026) Guide

Controlling antimatter and molecules, Nova alters the outcome of battles by forcing enemies to move with haste or to slow down to easily be targeted.

Nova can be used as a Warframe that supports her team or may take on the lead by setting enemies up to be obliterated by her abilities.

Depending on how you mod this Warframe, you can make use of her abilities in different ways for crowd control, damage, and more.

Warframe Nova Builds

1) Nova Balanced Build (Standard Build)

Our Balanced Build is a replacement for the old Speedva and Slowva builds, since you have the option to choose between slowing or speeding up enemies.

With Nova’s Ability Strength boosted to 224%, you go over the limit when it comes to controlling the speed of your enemies, but this is also useful for dealing more damage.

Using this build will allow you to cast your abilities more often, do more damage, and allow you to keep the effects going for a longer period.

2) Durable Speed Manipulation Build

Focused mainly on being able to speed up or slow your enemies, this build provides Nova with more durability thanks to the Null Star ability.

With Null Star’s Antimatter Particles increased to 21 and damage reduction per particle boosted to 8%, she can continuously have damage reduction thanks to Molecular Fusion. (Restores particles)

Enemy Slow or Speed has been boosted to the maximum (75%), allowing her to make good use of Molecular Prime, and while all this is going on, she has better survivability thanks to Null Star.

3) Controlled Molecular Prime (Small Speed/Slow Area)

If you don’t want your enemies to be affected from a far distance by Molecular Prime, this build allows you to control the expansion of your ability.

With your Ability Strength brought up to 200%, this is more than enough to hit the cap of 75% with the slow speed up from Molecular Prime.

To make it easier to cast your abilities, Streamline and Fleeting Expertise have been added to improve your Ability Efficiency.

4) Nova Antimatter Drop Build (Nuker Build)

As its name suggests, this is a Nuker Build that is meant to make use of Antimatter Drop, boosting Nova’s Ability Strength to 323% for heaps of damage.

This allows Nova to unleash Antimatter Drop for less energy consumption and an increased amount of Blast Damage being dealt.

Once Nova uses Antimatter Drop, all she needs to do is shoot at it to stack the damage and send it to collide with an enemy or surface to deal a large amount of damage in an area.

5) Nova Range Build (Null Star Build)

Another playful build that may not be as effective in higher-level missions is our Nova Range build, which is mainly meant to improve the range of your abilities.

One that gains a lot of benefits is the Null Star ability, as the range at which enemies will be hit is increased, allowing you to run around damaging enemies.

This also gives you more range with your other abilities and even affects the radius of the explosions from Molecular Prime.

Verdict

Nova has gone through some changes over time, and with the latest changes being from Koumei & The Five Fates, her potential has increased.

With the ability to now choose whether she speeds enemies up or slows them down, Nova can easily manipulate when enemies arrive at their destination in missions.

When it comes to damage, Nova excels at destroying groups of enemies with a majority of her abilities, especially Antimatter Drop and Molecular Prime.
