Warframe: How to Get Wisp & Wisp Prime (2026) Guide

Wisp is a ghost-like Warframe that manipulates dimensional energy to support allies and disrupt enemies, offering a mix of buffs, mobility, and area damage.

Her abilities allow her to enhance her squad’s movement, survivability, and damage output while also providing tools to control enemies and create openings on the battlefield.

With a combination of utility and offense, Wisp excels at adapting to different mission types, making her effective in both solo play and coordinated team strategies.

How To Get Wisp?

Wisp can be purchased for 325 Platinum to get the Warframe fully built, or you may farm her Main Blueprint and Components.

Main Blueprint and Component Blueprints

Farming Wisp’s components requires defeating The Ropalolyst on Jupiter repeatedly, as it is the only source for her Main Blueprint, Neuroptics, Chassis, and Systems.

Each blueprint has a set drop chance, making it necessary to complete the assassination mission multiple times to collect all of them.

Focus on completing the arena phases efficiently and targeting the boss’s weak points to increase your chances of obtaining the blueprints with each run.

Wisp Abilities

Passive Ability

Wisp becomes invisible while airborne, making both her and her Companions unseen by enemies until she lands or fires a weapon.

Her cloak automatically reactivates 0.5 seconds after she stops shooting, as long as she remains in the air, allowing her to stay hidden while moving.

1) Reservoirs

Casting this ability allows you to swap between Haste, Vitality, and Shock motes, which each provide a certain effect when placed by holding the ability.

  • Haste Motes – Increases Movement and Attack Speed
  • Vitality Motes – Provides Health Regeneration and increases Max Health
  • Shock Motes – Deals minor damage and stuns nearby enemies

Reservoirs provide motes to those who get within their range, allowing those who pass by them to keep the effects for a limited amount of time. (6 Reservoirs may be active)

2) Will-O-Wisp

Wisp sends a spectral image of herself that continues to travel forward as it confuses and distracts nearby enemies.

Holding the ability will cause the spectral image to travel faster, and releasing the ability afterward allows Wisp to instantly teleport to its location.

4) Sol Gate

Wisp opens a portal to the sun, which releases a beam of pure solar plasma that continues to deal damage to enemies in its wake.

Holding the ability enlarges the beam, making it deal twice as much damage at the cost of more energy being consumed.

Verdict

Wisp stands out for her ability to support her team while remaining mobile, using her reservoirs and teleportation to boost allies and control the fight.

Her kit also allows her to deal consistent damage and handle enemies safely, with abilities like Will-O-Wisp and Sol Gate providing both escape options and offensive pressure.

Players who focus on movement and positioning can maximize Wisp’s effectiveness, making her a versatile choice for missions that require adaptability, survivability, and tactical team play.
