Paloxite is one of the most valuable resources found in the World Tree, but finding the ore is only half the problem when its deposits can disappear before you even mine them.
The World Tree has several reliable Paloxite clusters scattered around its lakes, ruins, ravines, and massive roots, giving you plenty of places to build an efficient farming route.
Here are the best Paloxite locations to visit, along with what you need to know before collecting every deposit you find.
How To Farm Paloxite?
Paloxite is found exclusively throughout the World Tree, where its deposits appear as bright purple crystalline formations that can be mined for the resource.
There is an important catch: World Tree resource nodes can disappear when you approach them unless you have the proper protection active.
The easiest solution is to drink World Tree Holy Water before collecting Paloxite, which allows the deposits to remain in place while you mine them.
You can also use a Pal with one of the World Tree resource-preserving passive skills, letting you collect Paloxite without relying entirely on Holy Water.
Once protected, mine the deposits normally and collect the Paloxite before moving on to the next cluster.
Best Paloxite Farming Locations
1) Remnant Riverside (-1674, 1536)
This is one of the best locations for quick Paloxite runs, with several deposits clustered close together near the Remnant Riverside Fast Travel Point.
The short distance from the fast travel point makes this an excellent spot when you only need a quick supply of Paloxite without running deep into the World Tree.
2) Dusty Ravine (-1560, 1510)
The Dusty Ravine area has three closely positioned Paloxite deposits, making it another efficient stop for short farming runs.
The deposits are close enough together that you can collect them quickly while your World Tree Holy Water is active.
3) Gilded City Ruins (-1894, 1386)
Several Paloxite deposits can be found around the Gilded City Ruins Watchtower, with additional nodes spread across different elevations nearby.
Bring a Flying Pal for this area since some deposits are positioned above or below the main path rather than sitting together on flat ground.
4) North of Gilded City Ruins (-1800, 1465)
This area contains two separate groups of three Paloxite deposits, making it one of the better locations for collecting several nodes during the same trip.
It is particularly worthwhile when you already have Holy Water active, allowing you to move between both clusters without worrying about the deposits disappearing.
5) World Tree Central Area (-1762, 1480)
The central section around the giant orange crystal has multiple Paloxite clusters, making it a strong location to include in a larger farming route.
The deposits are spread across the surrounding terrain, so searching around the nearby cliffs and elevated areas can uncover additional nodes.
6) Giant Branches (-1864, 1506)
Another useful cluster sits beneath the enormous branches in the central World Tree area, with multiple Paloxite deposits packed around the surrounding terrain.
This location works well as part of a larger circuit because several other World Tree resources can also be found nearby.
7) Waterfall South of Boreal Summit (-1819, 1541)
Three Paloxite deposits can be found around the waterfall south of Boreal Summit, giving you another compact cluster to add to your route.
The location is further from the main fast travel points, but it is worth checking when you are already moving through the northern section of the World Tree.
Other Ways to Get Paloxite
World Tree Expeditions can provide Paloxite passively, with the Subterranean City Ruins expedition returning a useful amount after each successful run.
The Ancient Relic Recycler can also produce Paloxite by processing Ancient Relics, giving you another way to turn spare relics into the resource.
World Tree exploration can occasionally provide Paloxite through loot and chests, although these sources are better treated as bonuses rather than your main supply.
For steady stockpiles, combine expeditions and relic recycling with regular mining runs so you are collecting Paloxite from multiple sources.
Tips for Paloxite Farming
Use a Flying Pal when searching the World Tree because Paloxite deposits can appear at different elevations around cliffs, ravines, lakes, and large roots.
Keep your inventory space and carrying capacity in mind before starting a long farming run, especially when collecting Paloxite alongside other World Tree resources.
For repeated farming, start near a fast travel point and work through several nearby clusters instead of traveling to isolated deposits one at a time.
Verdict
Paloxite farming becomes much easier once you know which World Tree areas contain the most convenient clusters and stop wasting time on isolated deposits.
Remnant Riverside and Dusty Ravine are excellent for quick runs, while the central World Tree and Gilded City areas are better when you want a larger haul.
Just remember to protect yourself with World Tree Holy Water or a suitable passive before approaching the deposits, or your carefully planned farming trip can disappear before it even starts
