Warframe Arbucep (How to Get, Crafting Requirements & Stats)

Arbucep is a powerful homing missile launcher with a fungi-infused design, introduced in The Vallis Undermind update as part of the new fungal-themed arsenal.

As Nokko’s signature weapon, it possesses a unique synergy that enhances his abilities by increasing the pulse rate of his mushrooms when its projectiles make contact.

Focused heavily on raw destructive power, the Arbucep can be modded in various ways to annihilate groups of enemies and spread deadly status effects with ease.

How To Get Arbucep?

Arbucep may be crafted once you have obtained the Arbucep Main Blueprint and its Component Blueprints, which include the following:

  • Arbucep Blueprint
  • Arbucep Barrel Blueprint
  • Arbucep Receiver Blueprint
  • Arbucep Stock Blueprint

1) Purchase From Nightcap

Once you reach Rank 3 (Seeker) with Nightcap by collecting various mushroom species and analyzing them through the Field Guide accessible in his menu, you can purchase Arbucep’s blueprints.

The Main Blueprint costs 220 Fergolyte, while each Component Blueprint costs 150 Fergolyte, requiring a total of 670 Fergolyte to obtain everything needed for crafting.

2) Deepmines Bounties Rewards

Each of Arbucep’s blueprints can be obtained as rewards from specific Deepmines Bounties, which are available by speaking directly to Nightcap in the Undermine.

There are three different bounties to choose from, and each one has a distinct drop table showing which specific Arbucep blueprint can be earned from it.

3) Purchase From Market

For those who have the Platinum to spend, Arbucep can be purchased from the Market for 270 Platinum, which will provide you with the fully-crafted Archgun.

If you have more to spend and want to get Nokko along with several other bonus items, you can purchase the Nokko Bundle for 815 Platinum.

Arbucep Elemental Missiles

Each projectile (Homing Missile) that is fired by Arbucep deals 32 initial damage and 228 radial damage, which have the following Secondary Elements:

  • Projectile 1 – Blast (Heat + Cold)
  • Projectile 2 – Corrosive (Electricity + Toxin)
  • Projectile 3 – Gas (Heat + Toxin)
  • Projectile 4 – Magnetic (Cold + Electricity)
  • Projectile 5 – Radiation (Heat + Electricity)
  • Projectile 6 – Viral (Cold + Toxin)

All of these will be affected by mods that add elements to them, allowing you to create multiple combinations to deal insane amounts of damage and apply status effects.

Unique Trait

The Arbucep fires six missiles in total, and each of these missiles inflicts its own Secondary Elemental Damage type based on your mods.

Multishot does not increase the number of projectiles fired by the Arbucep but instead increases the amount of damage each missile deals.

When Nokko’s mushrooms are hit by these projectiles, their pulse rate increases, causing them to trigger faster than normal.

Arbucep Vs Other Archguns

Compared to other Archguns, the Arbucep stands out for its unique homing missiles and multiple elemental damage types, allowing it to handle diverse enemy resistances effectively.

While weapons like the Mausolon or Cortege rely on raw firepower or continuous beams, the Arbucep excels in versatility through area coverage and consistent status application.

Its ability to synergize with Nokko’s mushrooms gives it a distinct tactical advantage, making it both a devastating offensive weapon and a supportive tool in coordinated builds.

Synergy With Nokko

When using Arbucep with Nokko, hitting his active mushrooms causes their pulse rate to increase, making them trigger their effects more often.

This means Nokko’s mushrooms will damage enemies or buff allies at a faster pace, giving you stronger support and more consistent battlefield control.

Using Stinkbrain for crowd control works perfectly with Arbucep, letting you blast sleeping enemies with powerful homing missiles for huge bursts of damage.

Verdict

The Arbucep is often easier to unlock than Nokko, as it only requires reaching Rank 3 with Nightcap, compared to Nokko’s Rank 4 requirement when purchasing with Fergolyte.

This weapon is capable of dealing immense damage when fully modded, while also applying multiple status effects, making it ideal for priming enemies for follow-up attacks.

Although the number of projectiles cannot be increased with Multishot, this limitation instead allows you to amplify its overall damage output to incredible levels.
