The Arbucep’s ability to fire homing missiles that cause massive explosions makes it a powerful choice for both Archwing and standard ground missions.
It can deal multiple types of Secondary Damage, allowing players to customize the weapon’s performance for different combat situations and enemy weaknesses.
Whether you prefer focusing on Critical Damage or applying deadly Status Effects, the Arbucep offers several effective build options to match your preferred playstyle.
Arbucep Builds
1) Critical Missile Launcher Build (Critical Build)
Most players might expect the Arbucep to perform best with a Status Chance Build, but a Critical-focused setup can also deliver impressive and consistent damage output.
This build uses Mods that boost both overall damage and Critical Chance, allowing the weapon to deal massive bursts of damage whenever a critical hit lands.
Quick Reload can be swapped out when using Arbucep in standard missions instead of Archwing mode, providing better control over ammunition and sustained firing.

2) Status Missile Launcher Build (Status Build)
With its high base Status Chance, the Arbucep performs exceptionally well with a Status Build, making it effective in nearly all mission types and scenarios.
By combining all the Primary Elemental Damage and Status Mods, each missile gains increased damage potential along with a higher chance to apply multiple effects.
This setup allows the Arbucep to overwhelm enemies with numerous Status Effects, assuming they can even withstand the devastating initial impact of each shot.
3) Hybrid Missile Launcher Build (Critical And Status Build)
A Hybrid Build combines Critical and Status approaches, letting Arbucep both apply debilitating Status Effects and land powerful critical hits in combat.
By equipping both damage-boosting critical mods and elemental status mods, you gain flexibility to weaken enemies and increase overall damage output.
This setup enables continuous damage-over-time from status procs while critical strikes finish off surviving targets, creating versatile sustained and burst damage.
Verdict
On its own, Arbucept deals a decent amount of damage thanks to its base damage as well as the fact that Multishot increases its damage further rather than its projectiles.
Since each missile has its own Secondary Element, you can easily use this to inflict multiple Status Effects to mess up your enemies.
Keep in mind that 6 shots are fired at a time, so improving the effectiveness of each shot should be a priority rather than its rate of fire or other stats.
