The Aeolak is a rifle in Warframe that combines precise projectile fire with a charged alt-fire that launches an explosive round.
Its primary fire mixes physical damage with built-in Radiation, while the alt-fire focuses on a Blast explosion that deals most of the weapon’s damage.
The Aeolak plays more like a rifle with a built-in launcher, where most of your damage comes from timing and using the alt-fire properly.
How To Get Aeolak?
The Aeolak blueprint is obtained from high-level Zariman bounties in the Chrysalith, specifically from Tier 5 stages.
Its parts are tied to Zariman mission types, with the Barrel dropping from Void Cascade and the Receiver and Stock coming from Void Flood rotations.
The main blueprint cannot be traded, so you will need to farm bounties yourself before you can build the weapon.
However, the individual components can be traded, which helps reduce the overall farming time once you secure the blueprint.

Aeolak Tips
The primary fire is mainly for picking off enemies at range, but it does not deal enough damage on its own to carry the weapon.
The alt-fire is where most of your damage comes from, so focus on landing explosive shots into groups instead of relying on standard fire.
Build for Status Chance and elemental damage, since both the impact and explosion apply separately and can stack multiple effects quickly.
The explosion benefits from mods like Firestorm, which increases its radius and makes it easier to hit multiple enemies per shot.
Avoid firing the alt-fire at close range since the self-stagger can interrupt you and slow down your damage output.
Verdict
The Aeolak is built around its alt-fire, with the primary fire acting more as support rather than your main source of damage.
It performs best when you focus on landing explosive shots into groups and building for status and elemental scaling.
While it can feel weak if used like a normal rifle, it becomes much more effective once you lean into its launcher playstyle.
