Warframe Aeolak Build 2023 Guide

Warframe Aeolak Rifle

The Aeolak is a Grineer rifle fashioned based on the Orokin Era that packs quite a punch and can be used on almost any mission to speed things up.

It features a moderate fire rate with its primary attack and has a secondary fire which allows you to charge up a shot that launches an explosive projectile.

This weapon has a high critical chance and very high-status chance, making it quite easy to build the weapon for destroying any enemy.

How To Get Aeolak?

You can obtain the Aeolak Blueprint by doing Zariman Bounties (110-115) and it has a 12.99% chance to drop, which is shown amongst the rewards before selecting the bounty.

Obtaining the Aeolak Barrel Blueprint is possible during a Void Cascade and has a chance to be dropped during Rotation. (10% drop chance)

The Aeolak Stock Blueprint can be obtained when you are doing Void Floods and has a chance to be rewarded on Rotation C. (10% drop chance)

The Aeolak Receiver Blueprint is also obtained during Void Flood and shares a spot in the reward table during Rotation C. (10% drop chance)

Additionally, you can skip obtaining all of the Aeolak Parts by purchasing it in whole for 225 Platinum in the in-game Market.

A better alternative though would be to purchase the Aeolak Set from other players on sites such as www.warframe.market/ since the Aeolak market price will be much lower. (150-200 Platinum)

If you have obtained certain parts such as the Aeolak Barrel, you can always purchase the rest that you are having difficulty farming from market websites or through the trade chat.

Aeolak Builds

1) Critical Build

Aeolak Critical Build

The Aeolak Critical Build is perfect for any situation as it has a decent base critical chance, which can be boosted with mods for a better chance to score critical hits.

The additional damage provided by a combination of two elements along with Heavy Caliber can greatly increase its overall damage.

Since the charged attack also has critical chance, you can expect that this can easily clear out enemies, which includes Eximus ones as well.

2) Headshot Build

Aeolak Headshot Build

We have modified our previous Aeolak Critical Build to make it more focused on accurate shots, mainly headshots.

This will allow you to boost your critical chance with Aeolak’s attacks, including its charged attack after dealing a headshot.

The increase in critical chance will guarantee critical hits occur and the addition of Vile Acceleration will allow you to deal more damage in a short period.

3) Status Build

Aeolak Status Build

With a base status chance of 33%, we can bolster this to 138.6% with the added mods and this goes even further due to Galavanized Aptitude.

Since the Aeolak can fire rounds at a moderate rate and also has an AOE charged attack, it can easily apply status effects to enemies.

Those who have been inflicted will become weaker and more susceptible to damage or crowd control based on the elemental combinations you have in the build.

4) Hybrid Build

Aeolak Hybrid Build

A bit of critical chance and status chance makes a good combination, which is what the Aeolak Hybrid Build is all about.

This build takes two elemental status mods and adds critical mods to give better chances of inflicting status effects and scoring critical hits.

The status effects can add damage over time or weaken enemies while the critical hits will deal even more damage when you fire at your enemies.

5) Nuker Build

Aeolak Nuker Build

With the Aeolak Nuker build, you can easily reign continuous explosive shots down on your enemies to clear them out in large numbers.

This build focuses on allowing you to use the AOE charged attack continuously as well as increasing the radius of its explosion.

Using this build is perfect for mid-level enemies and is even worth the effort when it comes to some of the more difficult missions.

Aeolak Riven Suggestions

There are some cheap Aoelak Riven prices that players offer but these are only optional as the weapon does fine without them.

Should you want to replace one of the mods for an Aeolak Riven, a good option would be to have increased damage, multishot, or a boost in critical or status chance.

Whenever you replace a mod in some of the Aeolak builds, it would be a good idea to make sure it compensates the mod that was replaced with a similar stat.

Is The Aeolak Rifle Good?

When it comes to comparing the Aeolak to other weapons, it certainly has its perks, especially the exploding charged attack.

One of the closest comparisons is the Aeolak vs Stahlta, as they both fire automatic rounds and have a charged explosive attack.

The Aeolak exceeds the Stahlta with a higher base damage, including the innate Radiation damage, which can proc a status effect.

On most missions, the Aoelak can prove to be quite an exceptional weapon and can deal a decent amount of damage to almost any enemy you come across.

Verdict

Some may think that Aeolak’s fire rate is a bit slow for an automatic weapon but this can be boosted with different mods.

The damage that is dealt, however, makes it all worthwhile to create builds for the Aeolak as it can easily take out enemies, even armored ones.

Making good use of the AOE charged attack in between automatic firing is a good way to lessen enemies as you focus on killing the rest with the Aeolak.
