How To Get The Flamethrower in Palworld

As you progress in Palworld, there will be different kinds of weapons that you can unlock, and the Flamethrower is one of the most useful weapons for DPS.

Being able to fire a continuous stream of fire to damage and set your enemies aflame is a great way to quickly defeat both humans and Pals that are in your way.

Unlocking the Flamethrower can be done after you have progressed in Palworld and once you unlock and craft one, it can be excellent for turning a group of enemies into a barbecue.

How To Unlock and Craft Flamethrower?

The Flamethrower can be unlocked once your character has reached Level 52, which is also the same level required to unlock its ammo.

Crafting the Flamethrower requires a more advanced structure for crafting, which is the Weapon Assembly Line II.

The following materials are required to craft a Flamethrower:

  • 40 Pal Metal Ingot
  • 30 Plasteel
  • 35 Carbon Fiber
  • 30 Flame Organ

Flamethrower Features

The Flamethrower allows you to fire a continuous wave of flame at your targets, providing you with the ability to deal continuous damage to them.

Targets that are hit by the jet of flames from the Flamethrower have a chance to also be set on fire, which will cause them to take damage over time. (This also makes Pals easier to capture)

The combination of dealing continuous damage and causing targets to take damage over time is an excellent way to quickly deplete their health.

Flamethrower Schematic Locations

Flamethrower Schematics have a good chance to drop from the Oilrig, which mainly includes looting chests found when you are raiding it.

This includes Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and even Legendary Flamethrower Schematics, which all have increased damage, with the Legendary one providing the most.

The following are the base damages for each Flamethrower:

Flamethrower Quality

Damage

Common Flamethrower

450
Uncommon Flamethrower

517

Rare Flamethrower

562
Epic Flamethrower

607

Legendary Flamethrower

675

Depending on the quality of the Flamethrower, you will need more materials, but this is worth the additional damage since it gives you an advantage when facing stronger opponents.

Verdict

Since the Flamethrower can set enemies on fire, this also weakens Pals and can be a great way to increase the chances of capturing them.

Targets that have been set on fire will continuously burn, causing them to take damage and this goes great with the Flamethrower’s main attack and other damage sources.

While the Flamethrower may require that you reach the late stages of the game, unlocking it later can be a great way to damage groups of enemies.
