Bastigor is an Ice Pal that was added to Palworld when the Feybreak Update was released and was often first seen by players as a companion of Bjorn, where the two served as the Feybreak Tower boss.
Obtaining Bastigor requires that you progress further after first starting the game, requiring that you capture the necessary Pals to breed it.
This powerful Ice Pal is a popular choice for dealing Ice Damage and can unleash powerful active skills that can freeze your targets, making Bastigor quite the potential fighter.
Bastigor Location Map
There currently are no locations where Bastigor spawns regardless if it is day or night and instead, this Pal may only be obtained by hatching it from an Egg.
How To Breed Bastigor?
Unlike most Pals that have several parent combinations for breeding, Bastigor is limited to only two types of parent combinations.
This includes breeding Anubis with Frostallion, which will result in them dropping a Huge Frozen Egg that will hatch into a Bastigor.
The other method would be to breed a Bastigor with another one, which will also result in the same drop, a Huge Frozen Egg.
Bastigor Uses
Bastigor can be a tough fighter, especially with its many Ice and Ground active skills along with its Blizzard Crash partner skill that allows you to ride the Pal and use an ice-forged hammer.
As a companion, this Ice Pal will have your back as it is both durable and capable of dealing a good amount of damage, especially after being upgraded.
When assigned to a base, Bastigor is one of the few Ice Pals that have a decent level of the Cooling work skill, making it perfect for tasks that require it.
Bastigor Partner Skill
Bastigor’s partner skill is called Blizzard Crash, which allows you to ride Bastigor, allowing you to control its movement and use its active skills.
Additionally, while you are mounted on Bastigor, you will be able to utilize the Blizzard Crash skill, which allows this Pal to wield an ice-forged hammer and attack with it. (Has a 5-second cooldown)
To unlock Blizzard Crash, you will first need to unlock Bastigor’s Hammer (Unlocks at Level 59) and craft it, which will allow you to mount Bastigor once it is in your Key Items inventory.
Bastigor Work Suitability
Bastigor’s work skills mainly allow it to mine different types of resources as well as collect Wood and thanks to its high Cooling work skill level, it can replace most of the other Ice Pals in your base.
- Mining (Level 3)
- Cooling (Level 4)
- Lumbering (Level 3)

Verdict
While Bastigor’s Hammer is unlockable only once you reach Level 59, you can still breed Bastigor early and utilize it as a companion for fighting alongside you or for working at your base.
Bastigor is an Ice Pal but it also has Ground active skills, making it effective against both Dragon and Electric Pals without the weakness against Grass Pals.
The Blizzard Crush active skill can be used while in midair, which makes this useful if you get knocked around and happen to need a bit of movement, or need to attack while falling.
